fantasy adventure for the child in all of us. Peculiar things start to happen
the moment the Grace family (Jared, his twin brother Simon, sister Mallory and
their mom) leave New York and move into the secluded old house owned by their

Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?
When eight married college friends reunite for their
annual retreat in the snowcapped mountains of Colorado,
they come expecting fun and relaxation, but get a
completely unexpected surprise. Career-driven Dianne and
her supportive, but fed-up husband, Terry, are joined by
popular psychologist and best-selling author Patricia
and her architect husband Gavin, who share a secret
tragedy that finally comes to light, while Angela and
Marcus argue constantly, but remain in love. Also in
attendance is their good friend Sheila, a sweet woman
with a distorted self-image stemming from weight issues
that are exacerbated by her emotionally abusive and
philandering husband, Mike. Unlike any other year, this
trip changes the dynamic of the group with two new
additions: Sheila's supposed girlfriend, Trina, who is
secretly sleeping with her husband; and Troy, an ex-Wall
Street stockbroker who has put his career on hold to
care for an ailing father.
The Buzz..
Miley
Cyrus might have won last weekend's box office war, but a green ogre
one-upped her with the kiddies. Shrek the Third took four
nods, followed by Hannah Montana and its star with three for the upcoming
Nickelodeon 21st Annual Kids Choice Awards. Jack Black
will return as host for the March 29 festivities. The DreamWorks' animated Shrek
received nominations for favorite movie and the voice work of Mike Meyers,
Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy. Cyrus, 15, got nominations for best TV actress
and female singer, while her Disney Channel show Hannah Montana got a favorite
TV show nod.

NBC has put its money where its CEO's mouth is, skipping the pilot
process to go straight to series with the comedy Kath & Kim. The network
has ordered six episodes of the show, which is based on a hit Australian series
about the love-hate relationship between a woman and her adult daughter. NBC's
version will star Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live) and Selma
Blair (Legally Blonde).
Television is about to become even more Flavor-ful. Entertainer Flavor
Flav will star in the sitcom Under One Roof for

NBC
is making some last-minute changes under the hood of its Knight Rider
update, bringing in Val Kilmer as the voice of KITT. The star is
taking over voice-over duties from Will Arnett (Arrested
Development). Instead of the usual "creative differences," though, Arnett's
departure was caused by the fact that he's already the voice of a different kind
of vehicle. In the new "Knight Rider," which NBC is calling a sequel to the
1980s series, KITT is a Ford Mustang. Arnett, however, has done commercial
voice-overs for GMC Trucks for several years, and General Motors asked him to
withdraw from the project, in which Ford is a marketing partner.
If you're
looking to get your Friday-night wrestling fix this fall, don't look on The
CW. WWE Friday Night SmackDown! and the CW
Network have parted ways. "After a successful decade of 'SmackDown' on both UPN

partnership," reads a statement on the WWE website.
ABC has picked up an animated series from King of the Hill co-creator
Mike Judge, even though not a word has been written yet. The network
has ordered 13 episodes of an animated comedy called The Goode
Family from Judge (Office Space) and fellow Hill veterans John Altschuler
and Dave Krinsky. The show is being produced by Media Rights Capital, which
recently signed an interim deal with the Writers Guild that will allow scripting
on the show to begin.
Super Bowl commercial star Justin Timberlake will
lead the cast of the indie drama The Open Road along with
Jeff Bridges, Mary Steenburgen and Kate
Mara.
Hilary Swank will star as Amelia Earhart in a biopic
of the famous aviator. Titled Amelia, the film will portray Earhart in the
formative stages of her career. George Putnam, a publisher and publicist, was
engaged by society denizen Amy Guest to set up a daring nonstop flight across
the Atlantic Ocean. When Guest was talked out of trying to become the first
woman to make the trip, she dispatched Putnam to find a female pilot, and to
turn the flight into a media event. Earhart became the first woman to fly across
the Atlantic but disappeared in 1937 when she failed to circumnavigate the
globe. Her disappearance remains to this day one of the world's biggest
mysteries.
Dominic Monaghan (Lost) will join Edna McCallion's psychological
thriller Pet for MGM. Monaghan will play Seth, a man who bumps into his
old high school crush and quickly becomes obsessed with her. He takes her
captive underneath the animal shelter where he works but soon suspects that his
old flame is not who she seems to be.

game franchise almost happened with Eminem as the lead star. The film
rights to the Grand Theft Auto series were chased by Hollywood studios and

up. Supposedly last spring, however, a deal was almost in place for one of the
six major studios to produce and distribute the film with Eminem as a possible
lead. But the deal reportedly fell through and the movie's plans were shelved.
