Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
With the help of the Autobots, the soldiers of NEST, and an old adversary turned
ally, Sam and Mikaela must uncover the secret history of the Transformers
presence on earth, and the sacrifices that have to be made to save it from an
ancient threat sworn on returning here for revenge, an ancient Decepticon named
The Fallen. This movie has everything you look for in a popcorn flick. Big fancy
explosions, fights that will take your breath away, comedy, hot girls and even a
little bit of romance thrown in there.
The Buzz..
Timbaland
has revealed an amazing guest list for his second Shock Value
album. Drake, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake,
Nickelback, Katy Perry and even Chris Brown
are all set to make appearances on the album, which is scheduled for a November
24th release. Some other big names like Kings of Leon,
Lady Gaga, Daughtry and Shakira were originally
rumoured but have not been confirmed.
Laura Dern will be joining Ben Stiller, Teri
Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Owen
Wilson and Jessica Alba in Little Fockers; part
three of the series that began with Meet the Parents in 2000 and
continued With Meet the Fockers in 2004. Dern will pay the headmistress
of the elementary school that Gaylord and Pam's children attend.
With Green Lantern now properly gearing up to shoot with Ryan
Reynolds starring, the other roles are being pondered. And the producers
apparently want Jackie Earle Haley for the main villain. Haley is topping
the wish list for the florid Lantern nemesis, a former mentor to hero Hal Jordan
and wronged ex-law keeper himself who makes it his mission to destroy them.
The production team of Sex and the City 2 have cast Hannah
Montana actress Miley Cyrus in a cameo role. The young actress
was recently photographed with Samantha Jones actress Kim
Cattrall, wearing the same outfit. The rumour circulating is that in the
film, the pair meet at a red carpet event only to discover they’ve both worn the
same outfit.
Karl Urban (Leonard “Bones” McCoy) said “It would be great to have
another Star Trek out for 2011.” He explained a script is in the
works and that co-writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman
expect a draft to be completed by December. As far as details are concerned,
Urban is just as anxious to see where the second film will take the crew of the
USS Enterprise.
Kirsten Prout is vamping it up for the third installment of the
popular Twilight franchise, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The 19
year old actress from Vancouver will join the famous trio (Robert
Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart)
in the film as vampire, Lucy. In the third installment, Bella and the Cullens
must stop an army of super strong, newborn vampires. Lucy is responsible for
building the army of newborn vamps with fellow villain Maria (Catalina
Sandino Moreno) and also plays a pivotal role in Jasper’s (Jackson
Rathbone) backstory too.
Police have caught up with Stephanie Pratt, the 23 year old star
of The Hills better known as the sister of the fame hungry
Spencer Pratt. According to sources, the reality starlet was arrested
on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Diva Whitney Houston kept her cool during a performance on
X-Factor on Saturday, not missing a beat when a strap of her long silver
dress popped open midway through her performance of Million Dollar Bill.
Whitney later joked to X-Factor host Dermot O'Leary, "I sang myself out
of my clothes!"
Alexandra Burke has reportedly lost a bet she made with Simon
Cowell about the success of her new single Bad Boys. The X
Factor winner staked £1,000 that the song would not reach the top of the charts
ahead of Robbie Williams's Bodies.
Not only is Trent Reznor finished with Nine Inch Nails
and Twitter but he’s also said goodbye the single life. The Nine Inch
Nails frontman was married over the weekend to fiancée Mariqueen
Maandig, former singer of the band West Indian Girl.
Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo is teaming up with one of
pop’s leading ladies: Katy Perry. Next week Cuomo will join Perry
in the studio to write and maybe even record material for her new album.
Alice In Chains guitarist vocalist Jerry Cantrell and
Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian plan to launch the venue, Dead
Man's Hand, in November. The bar will feature none of the trendy décor,
snobby attitude and outlandish prices so prevalent in Vegas.
