At The Movies

Game Night
Max (Jason Bateman) and Annie's (Rachel McAdams) weekly game night gets kicked up a notch when Max's brother Brooks arranges a murder mystery party, complete with fake thugs and federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it's all supposed to be part of the game. As the competitors set out to solve the case, they start to learn that neither the game nor Brooks are what they seem to be. The friends soon find themselves in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn over the course of one chaotic night.

On DVD

Daddy's Home 2
Father and stepfather Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) and Brad (Will Ferrell) join forces to make Christmastime perfect for the children. Their newfound partnership soon gets put to the test when Dusty's old-school, macho dad (Mel Gibson) and Brad's gentle father (John Lithgow) arrive to turn the holiday upside down. After a sudden change in plans, the four men decide to take the kids to a luxury resort for a fun-filled getaway that turns into a hilariously chaotic adventure.

The Buzz...

Courtney Love shared a heartbreaking tribute to late husband Kurt Cobain on what would’ve been the Nirvana frontman’s 51st birthday. The 53 year old singer posted a throwback black and white photo on Tuesday, showing her cuddled into the chest of Cobain, who wrapped his arm around her in the candid shot.

Amazon Prime Video has partnered with Studiocanal for Marjane Satrapi’s Radioactive, a biopic of two-time Nobel Prize winner Marie Curie that stars Rosamund Pike.

Despite their split, Josh Duhamel continues to support Fergie. After the singer faced massive backlash followed her National Anthem performance at the NBA All-Star game last night, her 45 year old estranged husband showed up to her house with a bouquet of red and pink roses and a card that read "I love you."

An activist group is parlaying the record-shattering success of Black Panther into real-world change. #WakandaTheVote is a voter registration effort organized through the Electoral Justice Project last year, which was founded by activists Kayla Reed, Jessica Byrd and Rukia Lumumba. The EJP is an off-shoot of the Movement for Black Lives.

There’s bad news for Nolanites today as Christopher Nolan, director of Dunkirk and the venerable Dark Knight Trilogy, has ruled himself out of the race for Bond 25.

Marvel Entertainment has released a promotional video teasing “a fresh start” for its superhero comic book line this May, with creative team changes and a return to the classic versions of characters including Iron Man, Thor and Captain America.

George and Amal Clooney will participate in The March for Our Lives on March 24 and will donate $500,000 to help pay for the event, the couple announced.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out on Blu-ray next month and it is going to be packed full with extra features. To start, the disk will feature 14 deleted scenes. No clues were given about what the scenes may be, but director Rian Johnson said in previous interviews he cut a lot out of the film for time and pace.

Black Panther is going to have such a big opening weekend that its four day start alone will make more money than the first ever Justice League Movie.

It looks like Netflix has a new hit on their hands. Deadline reports Altered Carbon earned 2.5 million viewers during its first week. Based on the novel by Richard K. Morgan, the sci-fi drama takes place in the 24th century and centers on Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman), a 22nd century mercenary who is forced to track down a killer.

Andi Mack has been renewed for a third season at Disney Channel. The teen dramedy’s cast, including leading lady Peyton Elizabeth Lee and co-stars Lilan Bowden, Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie and Asher Angel, will hit the pause button on Season 2 this Friday, before returning with 12 additional episodes (aka Season 2B) beginning in June.

Legendary rockers Styx will headline two of this year's hottest concert lineups. The multi-platinum selling band will join forces once again with fellow legends REO Speedwagon, and very special guest star Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles) for a month long trek that starts March 13 in Duluth, MN at the Amsoil Arena. Styx will then team up with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Tesla for a summer U.S. tour that kicks off May 30 in Irvine, CA at the FivePoint Amphitheatre.
