A Wrinkle In Time
Meg Murry (Storm Reid) and her little
brother, Charles Wallace, have been without their
scientist father, Mr. Murry (Chris Pine),
for five years, ever since he discovered a new planet
and used the concept known as a tesseract to travel
there. Joined by Meg's classmate Calvin O'Keefe (Levi
Miller) and guided by the three mysterious astral
travelers known as Mrs. Whatsit (Reese
Witherspoon), Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling)
and Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey), the
children brave a dangerous journey to a planet that
possesses all of the evil in the universe. Another piece
of Disney magic.

Thor: Ragnarok
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris
Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him
against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow
Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent
the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home
world and the Asgardian civilization. This movie is action packed while being
fun and incredibly funny all the while.

Suits is getting a spinoff series, USA as revealed. Gina
Torres will lead the project, which will focus on her character lawyer
Jessica Pearson as she adjusts to Chicago politics.
New Line Cinema announced that it has picked up The Many Saints Of
Newark, a feature film script written by David Chase that will
serve as a prequel to his famous TV series, The Sopranos.
Mackenzie Davis is in negotiations to join the cast of the new
Terminator movie. Tim Miller is directing, with James
Cameron and Skydance’s David Ellison producing.
Skydance is also financing the pic. Linda Hamilton and Arnold
Schwarzenegger are returning to the franchise. Plot details are being
kept under wraps, although Cameron has said that the film will be a direct
sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day since he played no part in the
recent installments.
Jon Favreau will write and executive produce a live action Star
Wars series for Disney’s upcoming streaming platform. The show
does not yet have a name or release date.
Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi action adventure Ready Player
One is tracking for a sluggish $35 million plus debut at the North
American box office over the three-day Easter weekend. Warner Bros. and
Spielberg, who are hoping for at least $50 million, still have three weeks left
to make their final marketing push.
ABC has renewed the Good Doctor for another season. The hit
show stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, an autistic
surgeon who moves to California to work at one of the biggest hospitals in the
state. It follows Shaun's unique way of helping his patients, but he also goes
up against some of the other characters because they look down on the way he
treats his patients.
Showtime has extended the order of its half-hour animated series Our
Cartoon President, picking up seven new episodes to air this summer.
NBC has renewed its iconic soap opera Days of Our Lives for
a 54th season.
Grey's Anatomy just delivered a major shocker to its core base.
Fan favorites Jessica Capshaw (Arizona) and Sarah Drew
(April) will exit the ABC medical drama at the conclusion of its current
14th season.
Retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning is in talks with
both Fox Sports and ESPN to become a color analyst for
either Thursday Night Football or Monday Night
Football games.
Susan Sarandon has revealed that Paul Newman fought
for her to be payed equally during the making of Robert Benton’s 1998
thriller Twilight. The actress told BBC that when she discovered
her male co-stars and fellow leads Newman and Gene Hackman were
equally being paid more than her, it was Newman who stepped up and took part of
his own salary and gave it to Sarandon.
