Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the
game's jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What
they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji, you must survive it. To beat
the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous
adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and
change the way they think about themselves, or they'll be stuck in the game
forever. Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin
Hart and Karen Gillan headline this entertaining action packed
romp.

Steven Spielberg has teased the production start date for
Indiana Jones 5, saying that he will start filming the next adventure next
spring. According to multiple media reports, the director confirmed at the
Rakuten TV Empire Awards that he will begin production next
April in the United Kingdom.
For those of you Rick and Morty fans who have been
wondering what is going on with Season 4 and the future of the season, Dan
Harmon has offered an update and it's not good. After a disgruntled fan
complained to Harmon for not working on the new season of Rick and Morty, Harmon
confirmed that Adult Swim hasn't officially picked up another
season of the show yet.
Fifth Harmony has announced a hiatus so the individual members can
pursue their solo careers after six years of being together. “After six years
going hard, non stop, we also realized that in order to stay authentic to
ourselves and to you, we do need to take some time for now to go on a hiatus
from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavors,” announced the group on
Instagram. “We do have some upcoming shows through the end of the year which
will still happen as planned, and we can’t wait!”
Ving Rhames has been cast in CBS’ Cagney & Lacey
reboot pilot. Rhames will play police Capt. Stark, the LAPD homicide coordinator
who is described as unflappable and a leader who inspires loyalty in everyone
around him.
Emily Watson and Stellan Skarsgard are headed to
Chernobyl. The Breaking the Waves stars have boarded
the five-part miniseries about the 1986 nuclear disaster in Ukraine with Mad
Men star Jared Harris. Chernobyl will see Watson play the
role of a Soviet nuclear physicist looking to solving the mystery beyond the
natural disaster, while Skarsgard will perform the role of a Soviet-era
bureaucrat in the energy ministry.
The 17th annual Tribeca Film Festival will celebrate the
anniversaries of Schindler’s List and Scarface with retrospective
screenings as well as Tribeca Talks discussions featuring big names from the
movies.
The stars of Netflix’s Stranger Things have landed big pay increases for
the sci-fi drama’s upcoming third season. The child and adult stars of the
series will all make six figures per episode for the coming season. Finn
Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin,
the show’s young male stars, are set to make more than $150,000 per episode,
according to the report. Millie Bobby Brown, considered the
breakout from the first two seasons, is reportedly earning more than three boys.
All four reportedly earned $30,000 per episode for the first two seasons.
People are jumping on Twitter to announce their breakup with Facebook.
The hashtag #DeleteFacebook is trending on Monday after the New
York Times reported this weekend that the data of 50 million users
had been unknowingly leaked and purchased to aid President Trump’s
successful 2016 bid for the presidency.
The king of Wakanda is coming to Studio 8H. On this weekend’s episode of
Saturday Night Live, NBC announced that Chadwick
Boseman, the star of Marvel Studios’ mega-hit Black
Panther, is going to host the live sketch show for the first time on
April 7, 2018.
Matt Ryan will appear as a series regular on DC's Legends of
Tomorrow Season 4. He will assume the role of Constantine which he
first played on NBC's ill-fated series of the same name which aired from
2014-2015.
Cynthia Nixon made it official, saying she would run for governor
of New York in a challenge to Andrew Cuomo.
