Ready Player One
In the year 2044, on his death bed James Halliday, the creator of a wildly popular virtual reality utopia known as the OASIS, begins a hunt for his fortune and ownership of the whole virtual reality massively multiplayer online world with puzzles and riddles based on Halliday's obsession with pop culture of decades past. Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Rey (Daisy Ridley) has finally tracked down legendary Jedi knight Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) on the planet Ahch-To. It is there she learns there is much more to the Force than light and dark. Rey's parentage will also be addressed. Finn (John Boyega) has woken up from his coma. It's up to him and his new friend Rose (Kelly Marie Tran), a Resistance maintenance worker, to save the day. The two work with General Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), Resistance pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and their trusted droid BB-8 to fight off The First Order. The First Order's assault will be led by fallen Jedi and General Organa's son, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). We will also learn more about Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis), the mysterious and malicious mastermind behind the First Order.

The Buzz...

The Griswolds are headed to the Great White Way. Producers Ken Davenport and Kurt Deutsch have announced that they have optioned the rights to develop a musical based on the iconic Vacation film franchise with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures.

Fox News anchor Shannon Bream took to Twitter on Sunday evening to make an appeal on behalf of a gravely ill boy who said his last wish was to meet one of the Avengers. And within hours, Captain America star Chris Evans, Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd and other big-screen superheroes answered the call and contributed videos for the boy, whose name is Emilio.

Kylie Jenner has done it again. The new mom debuted a platinum blonde hairdo on Instagram with a sultry looking photo reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe. And Jenner is loving her new look, telling her many followers, "I think I was meant to be blonde." While the reality star is known for her ever-changing hairstyles and use of colorful wigs, this time around she took the old-fashioned route and dyed her naturally dark locks.

Rapper Cardi B surprised her fans and followers when she made a major announcement on social media. As it turns out, her debut album is coming out sooner than you may have expected. "My album cover !!! Ladies And Gents !" she shared on Instagram with the official first look. "My album Invasion Of Privacy will be out next week April 6!"

Stormy Daniels’ 60 Minutes interview about her alleged affair with President Donald Trump led the CBS news program to big gains in the early numbers Sunday night.

Danica Patrick might be hinting at some long-term relationship goals with her boyfriend, Aaron Rodgers, 'cause she apparently loves getting older, with her man by her side. Danica rang in her 36th birthday with the Packers QB front and center for a group photo.

Nickelodeon's parent company, Viacom, is suing Hearrt Events for allegedly stealing its lovable animated characters from Paw Patrol and using 'em for furry mascots that get booked for meet and greets with kiddos.

Rihanna wants everybody to shine bright like a diamond, using her beauty products, of course. The singer took to the Fenty Beauty Instagram account to tease its first body product, appropriately called Body Lava.

Connie Britton is set to star in the Bravo drama series Dirty John. Bravo gave Dirty John a two season order in January. The scripted anthology series is based on the series of articles published by the Los Angeles Times’ last fall about a charismatic con man, John Meehan, and the consequences of an ill fated romance.

Netflix has renewed One Day at a Time for Season 3. The renewal wasn’t a slam dunk, as the show is believed to just have middle of the road viewership, hence the time Netflix took to crunch the numbers and make it work.

Dan Schneider has produced his final series for Nickelodeon. The network has ended its working relationship with the producer, famous for creating hits like The Amanda Show (1999–2002), Drake & Josh (2004–2007), iCarly (2007–2012), Victorious (2010–2013) and Sam & Cat (2013–2014).

Marvel Studios announced on Monday that production has begun on the MCU’s first female fronted entry, Captain Marvel, which will star Brie Larson as the titular superheroine. But tucked into the announcement was the reveal that Guardians of the Galaxy stars Djimon Hounsou and Lee Pace will also be a part of the film.
