Ready Player One
In the year 2044, on his death bed James Halliday, the
creator of a wildly popular virtual reality utopia known
as the OASIS, begins a hunt for his fortune and
ownership of the whole virtual reality massively
multiplayer online world with puzzles and riddles based
on Halliday's obsession with pop culture of decades
past. After years of searching for Haliday's "Easter
Egg," one average teenager named Wade Watts (Tye
Sheridan) solves the first clue, he sparks
excitement and hope back to the hunt, and throwing him
into a world of people willing to kill for the
information he has, changing his life forever.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Rey (Daisy Ridley) has finally tracked down legendary Jedi knight
Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) on the planet Ahch-To. It is there
she learns there is much more to the Force than light and dark. Rey's parentage
will also be addressed. Finn (John Boyega) has woken up from his
coma. It's up to him and his new friend Rose (Kelly Marie Tran),
a Resistance maintenance worker, to save the day. The two work with General Leia
Organa (Carrie Fisher), Resistance pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar
Isaac) and their trusted droid BB-8 to fight off The First Order. The
First Order's assault will be led by fallen Jedi and General Organa's son, Kylo
Ren (Adam Driver). We will also learn more about Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy
Serkis), the mysterious and malicious mastermind behind the First Order.

The Griswolds are headed to the Great White Way. Producers Ken
Davenport and Kurt Deutsch have announced that they have
optioned the rights to develop a musical based on the iconic Vacation
film franchise with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures.
Fox News anchor Shannon Bream took to Twitter
on Sunday evening to make an appeal on behalf of a gravely ill boy who said his
last wish was to meet one of the Avengers. And within hours, Captain
America star Chris Evans, Ant-Man actor Paul
Rudd and other big-screen superheroes answered the call and contributed
videos for the boy, whose name is Emilio.
Kylie Jenner has done it again. The new mom debuted a platinum
blonde hairdo on Instagram with a sultry looking photo reminiscent of
Marilyn Monroe. And Jenner is loving her new look, telling her many
followers, "I think I was meant to be blonde." While the reality star is known
for her ever-changing hairstyles and use of colorful wigs, this time around she
took the old-fashioned route and dyed her naturally dark locks.
Rapper Cardi B surprised her fans and followers when she made a
major announcement on social media. As it turns out, her debut album is coming
out sooner than you may have expected. "My album cover !!! Ladies And Gents !"
she shared on Instagram with the official first look. "My album
Invasion Of Privacy will be out next week April 6!"

Nickelodeon's parent company, Viacom, is suing Hearrt
Events for allegedly stealing its lovable animated characters from Paw
Patrol and using 'em for furry mascots that get booked for meet and
greets with kiddos.
Rihanna wants everybody to shine bright like a diamond, using her beauty
products, of course. The singer took to the Fenty Beauty
Instagram account to tease its first body product, appropriately called
Body Lava.
Connie Britton is set to star in the Bravo drama series Dirty
John. Bravo gave Dirty John a two season order in January. The
scripted anthology series is based on the series of articles published by the
Los Angeles Times’ last fall about a charismatic con man,
John Meehan, and the consequences of an ill fated romance.
Netflix has renewed One Day at a Time for Season 3. The renewal
wasn’t a slam dunk, as the show is believed to just have middle of the road
viewership, hence the time Netflix took to crunch the numbers and make it work.
Dan Schneider has produced his final series for Nickelodeon.
The network has ended its working relationship with the producer, famous for
creating hits like The Amanda Show (1999–2002), Drake
& Josh (2004–2007), iCarly (2007–2012), Victorious
(2010–2013) and Sam & Cat (2013–2014).
Marvel Studios announced on Monday that production has begun on
the MCU’s first female fronted entry, Captain Marvel, which will
star Brie Larson as the titular superheroine. But tucked into the announcement
was the reveal that Guardians of the Galaxy stars Djimon
Hounsou and Lee Pace will also be a part of the film.
