Overboard
Kate (Anna Faris) is a single, working
class mother of three who's hired to clean a luxury
yacht that belongs to Leonardo (Eugenio Derbez),
a selfish, spoiled and wealthy Mexican playboy. After
unjustly firing Kate, Leonardo falls off the boat and
wakes up with no memory of who he is. To get payback,
Kate shows up at the hospital and convinces the confused
amnesiac that they're married. As Leonardo tries to get
used to manual labor and his new family, Kate starts to
wonder how long she can keep fooling her fake husband.

Peter Rabbit (James Corden) and his three sisters, Flopsy (Margot
Robbie), Mopsy (Elizabeth Debicki) and Cottontail (Daisy
Ridley), enjoy spending their days in Mr. McGregor's vegetable garden.
When one of McGregor's relatives suddenly moves in, he's less than thrilled to
discover a family of rabbits in his new home. A battle of wills soon breaks out
as the new owner hatches scheme after scheme to get rid of Peter, a resourceful
rabbit who proves to be a worthy and wily opponent.

next year’s Season 5 is not the last we'll see of the Shelby crime family on the
small screen, and, he’s been approached about a spinoff ballet version of the
epic gangster series.
Variety will honor John Travolta at this year’s Cannes
Film Festival with its inaugural Cinema Icon
Award. Travolta’s latest film Gotti will premiere at the festival in
a special gala screening May 15. Following the screening, Travolta will receive
his award at the Hotel du Cap.
In just 11 days of global release, Disney Marvel’s Avengers:
Infinity War set a new speed record to $1B at the worldwide box office. The
global gross through Friday is $974.5M. The mega milestone to come once
Saturday’s spoils are factored will top the previous 12 day run to $1B of
Disney’s own Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Out of 34 films that have
reached $1B global in industry history, this is Marvel's 6th and The Walt Disney
Studios' 17th.
The Television Academy has announced the seven recipients of its
11th Annual Television Academy Honors, which it recognizes
as “outstanding programs that have leveraged the dynamic power of television to
inspire social change.” This year’s honorees are Andi Mack,
Daughters of Destiny, Forbidden: Undocumented & Queer in Rural America,
Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, La 92, One Day at
a Time, and 13 Reasons Why.
Uma Thurman’s allegation that Quentin Tarantino
forced her to do a stunt in 2003’s Kill Bill that left her injured
and the years of “trauma” she experienced in its wake hasn’t stopped her from
wanting to work with the famed director again in the future.

the show has announced two more performers who will take the stage: John

Black Panther may be one of the biggest movies of the year, raking
in $1.3 billion at the global box office, but another Disney tentpole on
the horizon is already breaking its records. Tickets for Solo: A Star Wars
Story went on sale Thursday night on Fandango, and presales have
doubled those for Black Panther in the first 24 hours of their release.
According to the ticketing company, Solo had the second-best first day of
presales of the year, behind only Avengers: Infinity War.
Sony Pictures has dated Peter Rabbit 2 for Feb. 7, 2020, in
the U.S. and March 27, 2020, in the U.K., and is bringing back Will
Gluck to return to direct and write the sequel. Peter Rabbit
has taken in $115 million in the U.S. and is Sony Pictures’ biggest ever
non-Bond film in the UK, with a $55.7 million total in that market after holding
the top spot for four weeks in a row.
ABC has ordered a second season of hit singing competition series
American Idol, with Ryan Seacrest and judges Luke
Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie set to
return. The American Idol revival has been a strong ratings draw in its first
season on ABC, finishing as Sunday's No. 1 entertainment broadcast series on
each of its 8 telecasts this season.
