The Buzz...
Zack Snyder said in response to a fan question on the social-media
site Vero that his next project will be The Fountainhead,
an adaptation of Ayn Rand’s 1943 novel. Snyder has been developing
The Last Photograph as his follow-up to 2017’s Justice
League, the Warner Bros/DC tentpole that he directed and
produced with wife Deborah Snyder.
With Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2 both in theaters, it’s
been a big month for superheroes. Now it appears that Ryan Reynolds,
who plays the foulmouthed, fourth wall breaking antihero, wants to one-up the
so-called “most ambitious crossover event in history” by pairing his Deadpool
the Guardians of the Galaxy. And, as it happens, so does James

Hailey Baldwin says she's "single," despite any speculation about
her and Shawn Mendes. The 21 year old model gets candid about her
rumored relationship with the 19 year old In My Blood
singer in a new interview with The Times UK, published May
27. After walking the red carpet together at the 2018 Met Gala
earlier this month, Baldwin and Mendes romance rumors went wild, but it doesn't
sound like they're officially dating.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Gabrielle Union have
made amends after having a falling out about 17 years ago. For the first time,
the actresses sat down together to really discuss their relationship with each
other over the years. The conversation was documented for a new episode of
Jada's Red Table Talk, posted to Facebook Monday.
"This is a very special show for me, because what I decided to do was make this
about creating a new girlfriend," Jada said on the episode.
The latest Star Wars installment, Solo: A Star Wars Story,
struggled over the Memorial Day weekend, securing $103 million in 4,381 North
American locations over the four-days, according to Monday estimates. It came in
way under projections, opening with $84.7 million over three days, and just $148
million globally.
Marvel Studios gave fans a Memorial Day treat with a teaser for
Ant-Man and the Wasp that features new footage of the duo on a mission to
stop their latest foe, Ghost. The short clip features Scott Lang (Paul
Rudd) laying out his grocery-list-style plan to destroy the villain Ghost to
Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Hope Van Dyme (Evangeline Lilly).
“If you want to do something right, you make a list,” Lang says in the teaser.
Matthew Lewis is married. The actor, who played Neville Longbottom
in the Harry Potter films revealed that he's tied the knot with
Angela Jones.
Dean Cain seems to agree with his friend James Caan
that the world's a strange place right now regarding how men and women interact,
and also shares his support of Morgan Freeman.
It's hard to imagine Tom Hardy as anyone but himself. Whether he's
pouting on MySpace or dropping a mixtape, the authentic actor has always
been unapologetic in his identity, but there is that bit about his real name.
The Peaky Blinders star actually goes by his middle name, and his
birth name is Edward Thomas Hardy.
Ramona Singer had a rough start to her long Memorial Day Weekend
after getting in a nasty fender bender, but she's on the mend now.
Though she may not appear on screen, Selena Gomez has been a
driving force behind Netflix's adaptation of 13 Reasons Why. The
Back to You singer is an executive producer on the hit show
and has referred to the series as a "passion project" ahead of its premiere in
2017.
Because apparently The Bachelor, The Bachelorette,
Bachelor in Paradise, and The Bachelor
Winter Games just weren't enough to satisfy our hunger for escapist
reality television a new series will emerge. Dubbed The Proposal,
the forthcoming competition show is the brainchild of Bachelor mastermind and
producer Mike Fleiss.
