Halloween
It's been 40 years since Laurie Strode (Jamie
Lee Curtis) survived a vicious attack from
crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked
up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his
bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a
terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to
Haddonfield, Ill. but this time, she's ready for him.

Ant-Man And The Wasp
Scott Lang (Phil Rudd) is grappling with the consequences of his
choices as both a superhero and a father. Approached by Hope van Dyne (Evangeline
Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Lang must once
again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp. The urgent mission soon
leads to secret revelations from the past as the dynamic duo finds itself in an
epic battle against a powerful new enemy.

Caroll Spinney has been a television mainstay since 1969, but his
face has rarely made an appearance. Disguised beneath a frock of bright yellow
feathers and an orange bill, the Sesame Street puppeteer was the
heart and soul behind Big Bird and Oscar the
Grouch since the show’s premiere almost 50 years ago. Now, at the age of 84,
Spinney told the New York Times that he is retiring from
Sesame Street after nearly half a century playing some of the show’s most iconic
characters.

Netflix officially announced the end of Jenji Kohan's
series, which premiered its sixth season on July 27, with a heartfelt video of
the cast bidding their loyal fans goodbye.

A new installment of NYPD Blue has scored a pilot production
commitment at ABC. The new series follows Andy Sipowicz’s son, Theo, as
he tries to earn his detective shield and work in the 15th squad while
investigating his father’s murder. Original series writers and executive
producers Matt Olmstead and Nick Wootton will write
and executive produce the new show, with Jesse Bochco, son of NYPD
Blue co-creator Steven Bocho, executive producing and directing.
Joshua Bassett has been cast in the lead role of the highly
anticipated High School Musical The Musical,
a series for Disney's upcoming direct to consumer streaming service,
which is set to launch in late 2019.
The Conners premiere was the top rated show of Tuesday night but
debuted well below what the premiere of Roseanne drew earlier this year.
The series debuted sans Roseanne to a 2.3 rating in adults 18-49 and 10.5
million viewers. The one hour Roseanne revival premiere back in March drew a 5.2
rating and 18.4 million viewers.
The opening episode of the new season of Doctor Who, starring
Jodie Whittaker as the first regular female time lord, scored a new
audience high in the U.K. for the modern iteration of the long running show.

Demián Bichir to join the upcoming Godzilla vs Kong
film alongside previously announced cast Julian Dennison and
Brian Tyree Henry.
ABC has given a full season order to freshman comedy Single
Parents. The pick-up makes Single Parents the first new series of the season
to have its order extended by ABC. Through its first three episodes, the series,
from 20th Century Fox Television and ABC Studios is
averaging an audience of 5.6 million viewers.
Warner Bros’ Bradley Cooper Lady Gaga
musical romance drama A Star Is Born has filled $100 million plus worth
of movie auditoriums in its first 12 days of domestic release.
