Hellboy
Hellboy is back, and he's on fire. From the pages of
Mike Mignola's seminal work, this action
packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero (David
Harbour) called to the English countryside to
battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers
The Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla Jovovich), a
resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past
betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the
supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell bent on
stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.

The Buzz...
Having entered a guilty plea and facing potential prison time, Felicity
Huffman is now extremely contrite about the “transgression” of the big
bucks she paid out to get one of her daughters in a top school in the college
bribery scheme.
Smallville alumna Allison Mack has changed her plea to
guilty in the wild sex-cult case. She originally had pleaded not guilty on
racketeering charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced
labor conspiracy. Mack, who played Chloe Sullivan for 10 seasons on the Superman
TV series, was indicted a year ago along with Keith Raniere, the
alleged leader of a self-help program and purported pyramid scheme that federal
prosecutors say included operating a shadow society of female “slaves.”
Zoe Saldana is thrilled to have James Gunn back on
board for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Disney reinstated the
director, who was fired from the Marvel franchise for offensive tweets,
in mid-March. The studio had fired Gunn last July when controversial tweets from
nearly a decade ago resurfaced. The near dozen tweets, which were said to be
jokes, made light of pedophilia and rape. After a series of meetings, and with
no replacement on board to direct the third Guardians of the Galaxy, the
studio made the decision to rehire Gunn last month.
Flip or Flop's Tarek El Moussa couldn't stand
working with Christina right after they broke up, and although he's
praising her these days, he can't wait to do his own thing, sans the ex-wife.
Christina also has a new show on the horizon.
Prince Akeem is coming (back) to America! Eddie Murphy and
Arsenio Hall reunited during a costume fitting for Coming 2
America, the sequel to their hit 1988 film. Legendary costume designer
Ruth E. Carter, who won the Oscar earlier this year for her work on
Black Panther, shared a photo of Murphy, 58, and Hall, 63, on her
Instagram account.
Oprah Winfrey is giving back. The philanthropist, global leader,
book club connoisseur and media mogul has pledged $2 million to help revive
Puerto Rico's arts and cultural programs, which took a hit after the devastating
2017 Hurricane Maria. Winfrey's generous donation will be split half and will
benefit two separate funds and organizations.
AMC’s Preacher will end with Season 4. From Seth Rogen
and Evan Goldberg and based on the popular cult comic book
franchise, Preacher follows West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic
Cooper), his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga), and an
Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) as they embark on a
road trip to find God and are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell
and everywhere in between. Rogen revealed the cancellation on Twitter with a
thank you note to fans. “The fourth and final season of Preacher is coming. It’s
been a wild ride. Thank you all,” Rogen wrote.
AMC will serve up another helping of Walking Dead,
launching a third series that tells the story of survivors in a world where a
plague turns most of the civilized world into flesh eating zombies.
Are Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker finally set to
reunite on the big screen for the long-discussed Rush Hour 4? The
internet is abuzz after Tucker joined Chan in person over the weekend to
celebrate the latter’s birthday. The two co-stars took a photo together holding
up the number four with their hands, which has many speculating that the
characters of Chief Inspector Lee and Detective James Carter are finally getting
ready to make a comeback.
Just a week after Beyonce was crowned Entertainer of the Year at the
NAACP Image Awards, the Beyhive has another reason to celebrate. Netflix
posted a tweet teasing its rumored upcoming Beyonce concert documentary, which
will reportedly highlight her 2018 performance at the Coachella Valley Music
& Arts Festival.
