A Dog's Way Home
Separated from her owner, a dog sets off on a 400-mile
journey to get back to the safety and security of the
place she calls home. Along the way, she meets a series
of new friends and manages to bring a little bit of
comfort and joy to their lives. Bryce Dallas
Howard and Ashley Judd star in this
heartwarming tale that is an ideal family trip to the
movies.

Hell Fest
A traveling horror theme park called Hell Fest features a plethora of rides,
mazes, and other spooky attractions offered up to those that enjoy a good
fright. Unfortunately, this Halloween, there is a very real threat at Hell Fest,
a masked serial killer known as The Other. On Halloween night, Natalie and her
friends go to Hell Fest for an evening of spooks, but as The Other picks them
off one by one, they will be lucky this Halloween if they are able to get out of
this carnival of horrors with their lives.

On the heels of the will he, won't he host the Oscars imbroglio, Kevin
Hart returns to theaters this weekend in The Upside. The
dramedy, also starring Bryan Cranston, goes up against fellow new
offerings A Dog's Way Home and the sci-fi thriller Replicas,
starring Keanu Reeves. None of the three films are likely to
unseat ruling champ Aquaman, which will swim past the $1 billion mark in
global ticket sales sometime on Saturday or Sunday.
Lady Gaga has spoken out about the sexual abuse allegations toward
R. Kelly in a statement on social media. The singer and award-winning
actress worked with R. Kelly on the song Do What U Want (With My Body) in
2013 but has said she now intends to remove it from streaming services. The
documentary Surviving R. Kelly has shone new light on the extent of the
allegations against R. Kelly, and Gaga is one of a number of past collaborators
who have chosen to clarify their position.
One of the potential TV series that Marvel Studios is developing
for Disneys upcoming streaming service has landed a writer, and its from
another Marvel Studios property. Jac Schaeffer, one of the writers
for Captain Marvel has been brought on board to write and
executive produce the pilot for the series based on Elizabeth Olsens
Scarlet Witch, which will also feature Paul Bettanys
Vision.
Taylor Sheridan has come on board to rewrite Paramounts
adaptation of the Tom Clancy novel Without Remorse,
with Michael B. Jordan starring as operations officer John Clark.
Anne Hathaway and Tim Robbins have joined the cast
of the next movie from Todd Haynes, an environmental drama about
the chemical company DuPont starring and produced by Mark
Ruffalo.
After being ousted from Pixar (a company he co-founded), following
Disney becoming aware of multiple misconduct allegations, animation pioneer
John Lasseter has landed on his feet, as he has just been named
the head of Skydance Animation.
I Love You, America, Sarah Silvermans Hulu late-night talk
show, has been canceled after two seasons. Silverman made the announcement on
Twitter, saying, "Well, Hulu cancelled 'I Love You, America' and
were all pretty damn heartbroken."
The Sundance Film Festival has added the world premiere of
the documentary Leaving Neverland, which focuses on sexual abuse
allegations against the late pop star Michael Jackson. The movie,
produced and directed by Dan Reed, describes how Jackson allegedly
began long running relationships with two boys, aged 7 and 10, and their
families while at the peak of his fame.
Cristiano Ronaldo has called in his lawyers after a British
reality star made serious allegations against him on social media this week, and
CR7 adamantly denies all wrongdoing.
Daniel Bryan is not down with Nikki Bella's
relocation plans. In this clip from Sunday's premiere of Total Bellas,
Brie Bella tells her hubby (real name Bryan Danielson) that newly single Nikki
wants to leave San Diego and his reaction is less than excited.
