Dumbo
Struggling circus owner Max Medici (Danny
DeVito) enlists a former star and his two children
to care for Dumbo, a baby elephant born with oversized
ears. When the family discovers that the animal can fly,
it soon becomes the main attraction, bringing in huge
audiences and revitalizing the run-down circus. The
elephant's magical ability also draws the attention of
V.A. Vandevere, an entrepreneur who wants to showcase
Dumbo in his latest, larger than life entertainment
venture. Eva Green, Colin
Farrell and Michael Keaton also star.

Aquaman
Once home to the most advanced civilization on Earth, the city of Atlantis is
now an underwater kingdom ruled by the power hungry King Orm. With a vast army
at his disposal, Orm plans to conquer the remaining oceanic people, and then the
surface world. Standing in his way is Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Orm's
half human, half Atlantean brother and true heir to the throne. With help from
royal counselor Vulko, Aquaman must retrieve the legendary Trident of Atlan and
embrace his destiny as protector of the deep.

Universal's release of Jordan Peele's Us dominated
the domestic box office, not only out-performing the opening weekends for
several recent horror hits, but delivering the second largest opening ever for a
live-action, original picture, topping the weekend box office with over $70
million.
DJ Khaled hosted the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids'
Choice Awards on Saturday evening, broadcasted live from USC's
Galen Center in Los Angeles. The awards, which are voted on by
fans, span a range of categories, from favorite movie to favorite butt-kicker to
favorite social media star. Although away on tour, Ariana Grande
shared a video to thank her fans as she took home the awards for best song (thank
u, next) and favorite female artist. Jurassic World: Fallen
Kingdom Chris Pratt was slimed as he took home the award
for favorite butt-kicker.
Bette Midler and Judith Light will guest star on
The Politician, the first series Ryan Murphy will
launch on Netflix after he inked a deal with the streamer last year.
Not only is Taron Egerton providing his own voice to the fantasy
influenced Elton John biopic Rocketman, but the Kingsman
star is also giving the world the valuable gift of an R-rated on-screen Elton.
The film landed an R-rating for sex scenes and drug use as well as a reported
love scene between Egerton's Elton John and Richard Madden's John Reid, a former
music manager.
The Dubai government issued a statement denying that R. Kelly had booked
concerts in the United Arab Emirates city, as his legal team claimed.
This summer, Disney theme parks will take fans to a galaxy far, far away
with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxys Edge. Disneyland
will open the Star Wars expansion in May, and Disney World will
follow with an opening in August.
In Action, the new documentary series from Showtime,
multiple participants in the show compare the allure and pull of sports gambling
to an addictive substance. Some casual bettors go so far as to describe the need
to erase a day of unsuccessful wagers as akin to chasing a fix.
Noah Centineo is reportedly in talks to star in Sony
Pictures and Mattel Films' reboot of the 1987 film, Masters
of the Universe. The Dolph Lundgren and Courteney
Cox-led film stemmed from Mattel's toy line, which also spawned the
classic '80s animated TV series that aired from 1983 to 1985.
