Abominable
When teenage Yi (Chloe Bennet, Marvel's
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) encounters a young Yeti on
the roof of her apartment building in Shanghai, she and
her mischievous friends, Jin (Tenzing Norgay
Trainor) and Peng (Albert Tsai),
name him "Everest" and embark on an epic quest to
reunite the magical creature with his family at the
highest point on Earth. But the trio of friends will
have to stay one-step ahead of Burnish (Eddie
Izzard), a wealthy man intent on capturing a Yeti,
and zoologist Dr. Zara (Sarah Paulson) to
help Everest get home.

dreams of fame are rapidly fading, despite the fierce devotion and support of
his childhood best friend, Ellie. After a freak bus accident during a mysterious
global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never
existed. Performing songs by the greatest band in history to a world that has
never heard them, Jack becomes on overnight sensation with a little help from
his agent. Ed Sheeran has a stand out and hilarious role.

Dex Parios isn't your normal detective, and that's exactly what makes
Stumptown special. Cobie Smulders stars in the new ABC
drama as Dex, a veteran who's making a living as a private detective, getting
entangled with the police, gambling debts and a complicated love life.
Police arrested a fan attending Miley Cyrus' iHeartRadio
Music Festival show in Las Vegas this weekend. According to police
records, the fan, a 42 year old male named David Rumsey, was arrested for
allegedly making a threat and acting in a terroristic manner. Per TMZ,
the Slide Away singer's security team spotted Rumsey in the
audience at the T-Mobile Arena. The celebrity outlet reported Rumsey had
been on her security team's watch list after he allegedly made previous threats
against her.
Tom Hanks is one of the latest and greatest actors to be honored
with the Cecil B. deMille award at the 2020 Golden
Globes. In an announcement, the Hollywood Foreign Press
Association revealed that the critically acclaimed star will be presented
with the honor at the 77th annual celebration.
When Black-ish fans tune in to new spinoff Mixed-ish's series
premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 24, they should recognize a very familiar voice when
the show's opening credits roll. And that's because the series, the third in
what ABC is calling creator Kenya Barris' "ish" franchise,
landed none other than Mimi herself, Mariah Carey, to perform the
comedy's theme song.
Jonah Hill is in negotiations to play the Riddler in
Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Robert Pattinson
is set to star as the Dark Knight. Reeves took over the directing gig after
Ben Affleck stepped away from the role. Affleck was also expected to
play Batman again but then said he would be hanging up the cape for good.
Supernatural star Jared Padalecki could soon be starring in a
reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger. CBS Television
Studios is currently developing a new version of the classic Chuck
Norris led series with Padalecki in the title role.
Will Arnett and Chris Geere will star as the
chairman and coach of an English soccer team, respectively, in The
First Team, a new comedy for the BBC from the producers of The
Inbetweeners.
Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver are starring in the
drama The Good House for Steven Spielberg’s
Amblin Partners.
Dean DeBlois is making the move from lovable animated dragons to
tiny superheroes. The How to Train Your Dragon
filmmaker has been tapped to be the Micronauts movie director, helming
and writing the live-action sci-fi movie based on the popular 1970s kids’ toys
that spawned a Marvel comic. |
