Selena (Netflix)
An American biographical drama streaming television
created by Moisés Zamora. It tells the
story of Tejano singer Selena's (played by Christian
Serratos) rise to fame and the sacrifices she and
her family must make along the way. An excellent series,
with heartwarming, inspiring moments. True fans of
Selena will love this series, which gives us a little
more of a personal view of her family & home life or
lack there of it. Don't expect this series to be like
the movie, as it is more focused on the whole family’s
uprising to success not just Selena’s. The different
perspectives of her family give her rise to stardom
significant depth. The actors were perfect choices and
worked well with the script they had.

Ted Lasso (Apple TV+)
Small time football coach Ted Lasso ( Jason
Sudeikis) is hired to coach a professional soccer
team in England, despite having no experience coaching
soccer. Ted Lasso is a feel good story about a southern
football coach from the states that is asked to take his
coaching talents overseas to coach a team he knows
nothing about that plays a game (soccer) that he knows
even less about. Its a feel good opportunity to take his
positive affirmation coaching style across the pond. A
really good underdog story that is heartfelt and quite
the laugh. At times it has a bit of a serious feel to
it, but immediately falls back on its humor which
results in comedy gold.
