Confessions of a Shopaholic
Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a sweet and charming New York City girl who has a tiny, little problem that is rapidly turning into a big problem: she's hopelessly addicted to shopping and drowning in a sea of debt. While Rebecca has dreams of working for a top fashion magazine, she can't quite get her foot in the door until she snags a job as an advice columnist for a new financial magazine published by the same company. Overnight, her column becomes hugely popular, turning her into an overnight celebrity, but when her compulsive shopping and growing debt issues threaten to destroy her love life and derail her career, she struggles to keep it all from spiraling out of control and is ultimately forced to reevaluate what's really important in life.

The Buzz..

Perez Hilton had fodder of his own for his gossip blog after he alleges that Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am assaulted him. Hilton says he was attacked after the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto. Hilton claims that Will.I.Am had followed him and demanded that Hilton stop writing about the Black Eyed Peas and bandmate Fergie on his website. And then he says that Will's manager Polo Molina punched him in the head "two or three times." Molina has been charged with assault.

Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett plan to finally make their longtime relationship official. O'Neal revealed to Barbara Walters on 20/20 that they plan to marry. "I've asked her to marry me, again, and she's agreed," says O'Neal, 68.

In a surprising move, Sony and Columbia Pictures have shut down the Brad Pitt Steven Soderbergh movie Moneyball just before start of production. The movie was to begin production in Phoenix, but according to the trades, was put on "limited turnaround" late last week by Columbia chief Amy Pascal. Pascal reportedly was unhappy with the latest script rewrite by Soderbergh. The movie was to be based on Michael Lewis' 2004 book Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game, which followed the 2002 Oakland Athletics baseball team as they tried to field a competitive team on a miniscule budget. There's no word on how that story was changed, or why Pascal was uncomfortable with those changes.

The Top 10 from this past season of American Idol have the usual compilation CD coming out June 30th. The tracks have now been announced. Each finalist has one song apiece, with runner-up Adam Lambert and winner Kris Allen contribution two songs each.

Get ready for ladies' night. After the surprising box office success of The Hangover, producers Chris Bender and J.C. Spink have started work on a female version. Business Trip will follow a group of women who go on the titular excursion and are distracted by misadventure. The concept is still in its earliest stages; it will join a Hangover sequel, which is currently being written with a planned fall 2010 start to production.

Scrubs, the beloved series we said goodbye to last month when J.D. (Zach Braff) made his exit from Sacred Heart, will return to the schedule this winter, but it won't be the same show. When the sitcom comes back, it'll no longer take place in the hospital, but in a medical school with professors Cox (John C. McGinley) and Turk (Donald Faison) instead. Sacred Heart won't disappear completely though. Dr. Cox and Dr. Turk's students will end up seeing several familiar faces while doing rotations there every now and then. Braff, Sarah Chalke (Elliot), Judy Reyes (Carla) and Ken Jenkins (Dr. Kelso) have signed on to appear as guest stars throughout the season.

Well, T.R. Knight (George O'Malley) may not be returning to Grey's Anatomy this fall, but Katherine Heigl will be. Heigl's option on Grey's has been picked up, which likely means her character, Izzie Stevens, who is suffering from brain cancer, will still be on the show come September. Whether she will stick around for the entire season, however, who knows.

What do you do when you've already scored hit albums, hot girlfriends and the cover of Rolling Stone? If you're the Kings Of Leon, you start your own record label. The Kings will be launching their own label in conjunction with Bug Music, a well known music publishing outfit based in Los Angeles.

Bret Michaels has made People magazine's list of the hottest bachelors. He's in the company of the magazine's number one male hottie, Chace Crawford. Other runners-up include members of the Entourage cast, X-Men Origins: Wolverine co-star Taylor Kitsch, Prince Harry, tennis player Rafael Nadal, Transformers star Shia LaBeouf, American Idol contestant Adam Lambert and Twilight's Robert Pattinson.

Dancing with the Stars Julianne Hough will star opposite Chace Crawford in the Footloose remake.

blink 182 will have a new song ready when their tour kicks off on July 23rd. The track, called Up All Night, borrows its influences from Pink Floyd and Rush, but also maintains the trademark blink sound.

Four books that have been long out of print by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. will be published again under a new deal with Beacon Press brokered by King's youngest son.

Model Gisele Bundchen is expecting a baby with her husband, football star Tom Brady.
