I Am Number Four
A mysterious young fugitive with extraordinary powers
must stay one step ahead of ruthless enemies sent to
destroy him. An extraordinary young man, John Smith (Alex
Pettyfer), is a fugitive on the run from ruthless
enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity,
moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Timothy
Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no
ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls
home, John encounters unexpected, life changing events;
his first love, powerful new abilities and a connection
to the others who share his incredible destiny.

Unstoppable
Denzel Washington and Chris Pine star in an action
thriller as two ordinary heroes standing in the way of one million tons of
hurtling steel and epic disaster. An unmanned freight train transporting a
dangerous cargo of combustible liquids and poisonous gas is on the loose, out of
control, and barreling down on the town of Scranton, Pennsylvania. With
thousands of lives hanging in the balance, Frank Barnes, a veteran engineer, and
Will Colson, a young conductor, are sent by the yardmaster to do the near
impossible; board the runaway train and stop it before it is too late.
The Buzz...
Amidst the barrage of constant comparisons to Lady Gaga’s new
track Born This Way and Madonna’s Express Yourself, there
is one Gaga fan that definitely doesn’t mind the similarities. While on The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night Gaga revealed that Madonna’s camp sent
a letter to the singer saying that they loved the song.
Remember when Halle Berry pulled out of New Line's
New Year's Eve last month because of a heated custody battle with her
ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry? Katherine Heigl stepped
in and replaced Berry as a caterer in the rom-com so she could make herself
available for custody litigation. Well, good news for all parties involved: A
Los Angeles judge has ruled in Berry's favor, allowing the actress to fly to New
York with her daughter to shoot the Garry Marshall film. Berry
will be taking on a new and smaller role in the flick as a nurse.
The cast of Glee has broken another record on the music charts, claiming
the all time lead for entries on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart. With
the latest chart, which incidentally features the 1,000th different No. 1 song
since the chart began in 1958 in Lady Gaga's Born This Way, Glee has 113 entries
on the list. That passes the previous mark of 108 held by the King of Rock 'n'
Roll. (It's also more than James Brown's 91, Ray Charles'
74, Aretha Franklin's 73 and The Beatles' 71.) There is a bit of a
caveat to the bigger than Elvis story, however: The Hot 100 was born in
1958, and Presley had more than 20 songs on the Billboard airplay and sales
charts in the two years before the Hot 100 (or Pop 100, as it was called prior
to 1984) made its debut.
After much fan discussion on who should play NBC's Wonder Woman,
the decision has been made. Friday Night Lights star Adrianne
Palicki will assume the role of Diana Prince in NBC's reboot of the 1970s
series. The actress was the only one the network invited to test for the role.
Executive produced by Boston Legal writer David E. Kelley,
the NBC series will be a "serious and non-campy" take on the DC Comics
creation.
Maybe Michael Vick is happy enough with his partially revived
public profile to not rehash that whole dog fighting thing. The Philadelphia
Eagles quarterback was scheduled to appear on the Feb. 24 episode of
The Oprah Winfrey Show, where he would presumably discuss his association
with animal abuses, but as CNBC sports business reporter Darren
Rovell broke on Twitter that will not be the case. Rovell follows up with a
statement from Vick: "After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the
taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for February 22. I admire and
respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future."
Lindsay Lohan's father Wednesday claimed he was the mystery
"friend" behind a planned appearance on David Letterman's TV talk show
that involved the troubled actress. Producers of The Late Show with David
Letterman said on Wednesday that Lohan, 24, would not be appearing, as
announced, because a mistake had been made. Initially, it seemed the talk show
had been hoaxed by a prankster, but the actress' father Michael Lohan
later claimed responsibility.
Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian has dismissed "crazy" reports
she's engaged to wed boyfriend Scott Disick, insisting a U.S.
tabloid "exclusive" is completely fabricated. A Life & Style magazine
story suggested Disick's proposal to his longterm girlfriend had been filmed for
the finale of Kardashian's hit show Kourtney and Kim Take New York, but the
couple was keeping the news under wraps until the episode aired in April.
The Foo Fighters are one step closer to bringing new music to
their fan base. The rock group has announced that their seventh studio album
will be called Wasting Light with the first single Rope
hitting the airwaves on March 1.
In what is sure to be a coveted ticket this summer newcomers Bruno
Mars and Janelle Monae have announced that they will be
hitting the road together. After both artists delivered electrifying
performances at this past weekend’s Grammys, the two artists announced
today that they are taking the show on the road. The Hooligans and Wondaland
tour will be making stops in the US and Canada with opening acts Plan B
and Mayer Hawthorne.
