War Of The Worlds (Prime
Video)
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officer Will
Radford (Ice Cube) works for a government
surveillance program that can monitor every person on
Earth. While helping FBI agents try to find a mysterious
hacker known as "Disruptor", meteors begin striking all
over the planet. War of the Worlds is a reimagining of
H.G. Wells’ infamous alien invasion set in the modern
age, utilizing our modern technology to warn audiences
about data collection. Perhaps the most confusing part
of the film is that the aliens were entirely unnecessary
to tell such a story; there are far better ways of
critiquing government overreach into the public’s
personal information than summoning heat-ray wielding
aliens.

East Texas, and she succumbs to socialite Margo's
charms. Her life is soon consumed by obsession,

Åkerman, is hands down one of the most interesting
characters you've seen in a while. She's mysterious and
manipulative, but also oddly magnetic. Their dynamic

summer murder mystery.
