Smurfs
When evil wizards Razamel and Gargamel take Papa Smurf, the Smurfs embark on a
mission to the real world to save him. With help from some new friends, they
must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe. Once again from
Viacom and Nickelodeon movies, the animation is fantastic with
great new character designs that stay faithful to Peyo's comic series of the
same name and does a great job bringing them alive in 3D form. Rhianna,
James Corden and Nick Offerman are just a few names
in the all star voice cast.

Dexter: Resurrection (Paramount+)
Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) awakens from a
coma and sets out for New York City, determined to find
Harrison and make things right. But when Miami Metro's
Angel Batista arrives with questions, Dexter realizes
his past is catching up to him fast. You feel that he's
back, but not the same as before, as if he's matured, as
if he's tired, as if he's no longer killing just to
kill, he's thinking more, calculating, and this made me
like his character more. The directing was excellent,
the cinematography reflects the tension in the story,
everything seems a bit gloomy, dark, cold... exactly the
atmosphere we want to see Dexter in.

Brick (Netflix)
A couple whose apartment building is suddenly surrounded
by a mysterious brick wall must work with their
neighbors to find a way out. Brick is one of those rare
high-concept thrillers that pulls you in immediately and
refuses to let go. From the first few minutes, when Tim
and Olivia wake up to find their apartment sealed shut
by mysterious black walls, you know you're in for
something unique. The feeling of claustrophobia,
confusion, and rising panic is executed brilliantly, and
it only intensifies as more residents realize they're
trapped in the same surreal nightmare.
