The Wrong Paris
A woman (Miranda Cosgrove) joins a
dating show thinking it's in Paris, France for an art
opportunity, but it's actually in Paris, Texas. She
tries to get eliminated until falling for the bachelor (Pierson
Fode), complicating her plans. The Wrong Paris is
surprisingly delightful and lighthearted fun, all thanks
to its cast and writing. The Wrong Paris is another
decent Netflix romantic comedy movie that the target
audience will enjoy even if it isn't that special from
the other movies they have seen before this one. Overall
a definite recommend if you want to sit back with some
wine, a light laugh, and old fashioned cheesy romance.

Task (HBO Max)
An FBI agent, Tom (Mark Ruffalo), is
pulled back into fieldwork to lead a new task force
investigating a string of robberies in Philadelphia's
suburbs. The series explores themes of grief, trauma,
and the complicated lives of both the investigators and
the criminals, featuring performances from Mark Ruffalo
and Tom Pelphrey. Ruffalo and Pelfrey give
memorizing performances that you just can't stop
watching. HBO hit another home run with this limited
series. We've seen stories like this before, the car and
mouse game between the police and the criminal so a show
really has to be great to stand out and Task definitely
does that. It's a masterful series that's one of the
must see shows this year.
