One Battle After Another
Bob (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a washed up revolutionary who lives in
a state of stoned paranoia, surviving off grid with his spirited and self
reliant daughter, Willa. When his evil nemesis resurfaces and Willa goes
missing, the former radical scrambles to find her as both father and daughter
battle the consequences of their pasts. This is Paul Thomas
Anderson's most expensive film yet with a reported budget between $130
million and $175 million, despite Anderson's highest grossing film, There
Will Be Blood (2007), making only $76 million upon release.

The Girlfriend (Prime Video)
Laura's (Robin Wright) idyllic life is
shattered when her son's new girlfriend seems
suspicious. Determined to protect him, Laura's actions
spiral out of control, raising the question: Is she
justifiably cautious or consumed by paranoia? Laurie
Davidsons performance is incredible and so raw.
Robin Wright is excellent, but Olivia Cooke
absolutely steals it. She's magnetic - vulnerable one
moment, sharp and unpredictable the next. Every time
she's on screen, the show feels like it levels up.
