Moana
The live action Moana film, releasing in theaters on July 10, 2026, retells the classic Polynesian adventure. It follows Moana (Catherine Laga'aia), a brave village chief's daughter chosen by the ocean, who teams up with the shapeshifting demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) to sail beyond the reef and restore the stolen heart of Te Fiti. When an ancient curse slowly begins to wither her island home of Motunui, Moana answers the ocean's call to voyage beyond the reef. In addition to acting as Maui, Dwayne Johnson serves as a producer alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda, who is providing fresh, all new music to the film's soundtrack.
