Digger
The dark satirical film Digger follows eccentric billionaire oil tycoon Digger
Rockwell (Tom Cruise), who accidentally triggers a massive
ecological disaster in Greenland and scrambles to prove he is humanity's savior
before the crisis destroys everything. Digger Rockwell's excessive drilling
operations crack a massive glacier in Greenland, setting off a fast paced
climate catastrophe and global tensions. Instead of facing blame, the delusional
and powerful tycoon embarks on a frantic, absurd mission to position himself as
the world's sole hero and fixer.

Unabomber (Netflix)
Follow Ted Kaczynski's transformation from
Harvard prodigy into the infamous Unabomber. Subjected
to controversial psychological experiments by Professor
Henry Murray, Kaczynski's troubled past resurfaces
decades later when his manhunt, led by FBI agent Joanne
Miller, brings to light the chilling consequences of
ambition and isolation. At 16 years old, Ted Kaczynski
enters Harvard University as a brilliant
student. He joins a psychology study that uses cruel
interrogation tactics to break the minds of young
participants under the guise of philosophy. The film
frames this abuse as the spark for Kaczynski's deep
hatred of modern society and technology.

Loki (Disney+)
Loki Season 2 follows the God of Mischief as he battles
for the soul of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) while
suffering from involuntary time-slipping through the
multiverse. Loki (Tom Hiddleston) randomly
jumps back and forth through time inside the TVA, unable
to control the dangerous shifting. longside Mobius M.
Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Ouroboros "O.B." (Ke Huy Quan),
Loki tries to fix the overloading Temporal Loom before
infinite branching timelines collapse. Loki destroys the
failing Loom, uses his own magic to gather and hold the
dying timelines together into a living, tree like
multiversal structure (Yggdrasil), and becomes the
standalone guardian of the multiverse at the End of
Time.

Ava Ganz, a contestant on the Netflix
series Wonka’s The Golden Ticket, is calling out
the show’s editors for making her look like a “little
brat” while competing alongside her dad.
The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards
brought the industry’s biggest stars together to jockey
for awards. The ceremony took place at the Peacock
Theater in L.A., and Snoop Dogg was
the host for the night. Outside of the normal
nominations, Nirvana received the Michael
Jackson video vanguard award, and Taylor
Swift won the first artist director honors. The
MTV Video Music Awards scored their largest audience in
more than a decade.
ESPN Jeopardy! has officially been renewed
for a second season and sports superfans can now apply
for their chance to win the $300,000 prize. The show’s
first season debuted in July 2026 on Disney+ and
Hulu, featuring stars like Jon Hamm,
Adam Pally, Hannah Storm,
and more competing for $500,000 to the charity of their
choice. When it returns, it will be open to civilian
fans interested in competing for a massive cash reward.
Chris Evans is suiting up for his latest
movie. The 45 year old Marvel star was spotted on
the Los Angeles set of the upcoming crime thriller My
Darling California, which recently began
production.
Dennis Haskins has sadly passed away at
the age of 75. The actor was best known for playing
Principal Richard Belding on the beloved series Saved
by the Bell, a role that he
reprised on multiple spinoff shows. The character was
known for the saying, “Hey, hey, hey, what is going on
here?”
Kendall Jenner, Heidi Klum,
and Jane Fonda were among the many stars
hitting the runway for L’Oréal Paris. The
stars took part in Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris’s “Express
Your Worth” show on Monday (September 28)
at Place Joffre in Paris, with the
illuminated Eiffel Tower providing a
beautiful backdrop.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day fans could soon
have a new reason to snag another ticket for the record
setting blockbuster. A theatrical rerelease is in the
works from Sony Pictures that would add previously
unseen footage, including a scene involving Rosario
Dawson that did not make the version that hit
screens July 31.
Minions & Monsters will be available to stream
Oct. 28 on Peacock. The seventh installment of
the Despicable Me franchise released in
theaters July 1 with a voice cast led by Allison
Janney, Jeff Bridges and Jesse
Eisenberg.
BBC boss Matt Brittin says he was
recently sent a fully AI generated episode of Doctor
Who, which he deemed “pretty good” although he
was quick to add it was “not going to replace humans.”
