The Adventures of Tintin
Director Steven Spielberg adapts the
classic comic book about an intrepid young reporter, his
dog and a world of high adventure. Tintin (Jamie
Bell) and his loyal dog Snowy are thrust into a
world of high adventure when they discover a ship
carrying an explosive secret. As Tintin is drawn into a
centuries old mystery, Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine (Daniel
Craig) suspects him of stealing a priceless
treasure. Tintin and Snowy, with the help of salty,
cantankerous Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis),
and bumbling detectives Thompson & Thomson, travel half
the world, one step ahead of their enemies as Tintin
endeavors to find The Unicorn, a sunken ship that may
hold a vast fortune, but also an ancient curse.

Dolphin Tale
Swimming free, a young dolphin is caught in a crab trap, severely damaging her
tail. She is rescued and transported to the Clearwater Marine Hospital, where
she is named Winter. But her fight for survival has just begun. Without a
tail, Winter's prognosis is dire. It will take the expertise of a dedicated
marine biologist, the ingenuity of a brilliant prosthetics doctor, and the
unwavering devotion of a young boy to bring about a groundbreaking miracle; a
miracle that might not only save Winter but could also help scores of people
around the world. The real Winter, who plays herself in Dolphin Tale, today
serves as a symbol of courage, perseverance and hope to millions of people, both
able and disabled, who have been touched by her remarkable story of recovery and
rehabilitation.
The Buzz...
Twitter is still abuzz with (greatly exaggerated) rumors of Jon Bon
Jovi's demise. Of course, the rocker is not dead, and in fact, he was happy
to prove it with a photo, tweeted by his photographer friend David Bergman. "I
happened to be with Jon Bon Jovi when we heard rumors of his death. He's alive
and well and I shot this to prove it," Bergman tweeted on Monday evening, as Bon
Jovi prepared to play a charity special. Bon Jovi grins in the photo, posing in
front of a festive Christmas tree and holding a sign on which he scrawled,
"Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey!"
Vanessa Bryant is divorcing her Lakers husband Kobe
Bryant because he cheated. After he was accused of raping a young hotel
staffer in 2003, Kobe admitted to sleeping with the woman and famously convinced
Vanessa to stay with him (with the help of an enormous diamond ring). But now,
his wife of 11 years has had enough. TMZ reports that the wives of Kobe's
teammates warned Vanessa that he was once again sleeping with other women.
The Chicago Sun Times, meanwhile, says that the last straw for Vanessa was
when she learned that Kobe had introduced a mistress to their two daughters.
RadarOnline suggests that said mistress was Carla DiBello, one
of the producers of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and a close friend of
Kim Kardashian's.
Kevin Federline, the father of Britney Spears' two boys
Sean Preston and Jayden James, spoke to Australia's TV Week about the
news of Spears' engagement to boyfriend of two years, Jason Trawick.
"I'm really happy for her. I think he's a great guy," Federline says.
Kelly Clarkson, took the "the show must go on" mantra to heart on
Sunday Dec. 18 at the VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul show
in NYC. Clarkson was forced to take the stage with her right ankle wrapped in a
bandage after twisting it on her way to the event at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
"Just finished taping Divas for VH1 and seriously there are some really talented
ladies," she tweeted after the show. "Funny part of the evening is I twisted my
ankle in a pair of heels right before the show started in a freakin pot hole on
the street! Hurt like hell but still one of my favorite shows I've ever been a
part of!"
Lindsay Lohan's Playboy issue is set to sell out. The
actress posed in a raunchy shoot for the men's magazine and despite critics
claiming the pictures were "boring" and unimaginative," it has proved popular
with readers. The issue has been selling out across many parts of the US with
cities like New York and Los Angeles ordering additional copies due to the
increased demand. Playboy founder Hugh Hefner wrote on Twitter:
"The Lindsay Lohan January February Double Issue is breaking sales records."
MTV has officially announced the return of Punk'd, but one mystery
remains: Who is at the helm of the prank series? Punk'd was originally hosted by
Ashton Kutcher, and the Two and a Half Men
star will return to the franchise as an executive producer. MTV will give
viewers a sneak peek at the new series during its New Year's Eve programming
block hosted by Demi Lovato and Teen Wolf star
Tyler Posey.
The New York man who admitted to uploading an unfinished copy of X-Men
Origins: Wolverine to the Internet has been sentenced to one year in federal
prison.
Ozzy Osbourne is set to get the tribute album treatment with a new
release due next year. No More Tears: A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne will be
released on May 8 and feature some major artists. Although the tracklist has yet
to be revealed, Versailles Records announced that both Black
Sabbath and Ozzy's solo work would be up for grabs. Among the
contributors: Vince Neil (Mötley Crüe), George
Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), Eric Singer
(KISS), Mark Slaughter (Slaughter), Keri
Kelli (Alice Cooper, Ratt), Chris Poland
(Megadeth), Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani, Steve
Vai) and Derrick LeFevre (Lillian Axe).
Jessica Lange and Sam Shepard confirmed media
speculation today that they have ended their relationship, separating not
recently, but almost two years ago.
Chaz Bono and his fiancée, Jennifer Elia, have
called off their engagement and ended their relationship. "They leave this
relationship with great love, respect and affection towards one another," the
couple's publicist, Howard Bragman, tells People. "No
further amplification will be forthcoming and they ask that you respect their
privacy at this time." "Thanks for your concern about our separation," Bono, 42,
Tweeted. "I'm doing fine, and we remain on good terms with nothing but respect
and affection 4 each other."
Two lawsuits against Warner Bros. involving this summer’s raunchy
blockbuster The Hangover Part II have been dropped. Michael
Alan Rubin, a writer who claimed in October that the film was based
on his autobiographical screenplay, Mickey and Kirin, has dropped his
litigation. Likewise Scott McLean, who performed stunts for Ed
Helms, is no longer seeking damages for an injury he suffered during a
car collision on set. According to court records, both Rubin and McLean
dismissed their lawsuits voluntarily.
