Johnny English Reborn
In his latest adventure, the most unlikely intelligence
officer in Her Majesty's Secret Service must stop a
group of international assassins before they eliminate a
world leader and cause global chaos. In the years since
MI-7's top spy vanished off the grid, he has been honing
his unique skills in a remote region of Asia. But when
his agency superiors learn of an attempt against the
Chinese premier's life, they must hunt down the highly
unorthodox agent. Now that the world needs him once
again, Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) is
back in action. With one shot at redemption, he must
employ the latest in hi-tech gadgets to unravel a web of
conspiracy that runs throughout the KGB, CIA and even
MI-7. With mere days until a heads of state conference,
one man must use every trick in his playbook to protect
us all. For Johnny English, disaster may be an option,
but failure never is.

Bad Teacher
Some teachers just don't give an F. For example, there's Elizabeth (Cameron
Diaz). She's foul mouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate. She drinks, she
gets high, and she can't wait to marry her meal ticket and get out of her bogus
day job. When she's dumped by her fiance, she sets her plan in motion to win
over a rich, handsome substitute - competing for his affections with an overly
energetic colleague, Amy. When Elizabeth also finds herself fighting off the
advances of a sarcastic, irreverent gym teacher, the consequences of her wild
and outrageous schemes give her students, her coworkers, and even herself an
education like no other.
The Buzz...
The Hills star Lauren Conrad is known for her
California blonde locks, but she decided to put her color up to a vote from her
fans on TheBeautyDepartment, the blog she runs with hairstylist
Kristin Ess and makeup artist Amy Nadine. The majority ruled that
Conrad dye her hair peach... and she did, with a dip-dye technique. It's not the
first time she's had kooky colors (she went for a red and blue theme on the tips
of her hair this summer) but that didn't last long. She's planning to keep the
peach around a while.
Daniel Radcliffe couldn't be at the 2011 Spike TV
Scream Awards in person, but he joined the awards via live feed from New
York City's Lincoln Center to accept the Ultimate Scream Award
for the final Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
"I've had the most incredible 10 years of my life on 'Harry Potter. It's been
the year of the longest goodbye in the world, and it is a very, very sad thing,
but we just had the most amazing, amazing time," says Radcliffe. Deathly Hallows
also received Best Scream Play, Best Fantasy
Actor, Best Villain, Holy S*** Scene of the Year and
Best FX, in addition to the Ultimate Scream.
The iPhone 4S, the most current version, is not the last Apple
product that Steve Jobs designed before his death. The visionary
co-owner of Apple contributed work to the as yet unreleased iPhone 5, all the
way from conception to final approval. The new phone is expected to have the
same dimensions as the iPhone 4S, but with a larger screen. The iPhone 5
is a complete redesign. "This is a very large project that Steve dedicated all
of his time to. He was not that involved in the 4S because his time was
limited." It is likely to debut in summer 2012.
An aspiring screenwriter has sued Warner Bros. and the filmmakers
behind The Hangover Part II for copyright infringement, defamation,
fraud, and other charges, claiming that the R-rated comedy copied a script he
had written about his wild personal experiences in Asia. After his marriage to a
Japanese woman fell apart during his honeymoon in 2008, Michael Alan Rubin
went on some adventures that he turned into a screenplay titled Mickey
and Kirin. In the suit, filed last week in U.S. District Court in Los
Angeles, Rubin says The Hangover sequel “is copied from the treatment and also
from the real life incident of the Plaintiff."
Ricki Lake started dropping inches from the get-go while training
for Dancing with the Stars, and now her progress continues. "I've lost a
lot of inches all over," the actress and TV host, 43, tells People. "Definitely
in my arms, and my arms were particularly one of the things I hated most about
my body, so it's nice to see them slimming down."
Given how much money the Transformers franchise has made to date, there
was no way toy company Hasbro and film partners Paramount were
going to stop serving up juicy steaks made from that cash cow. And now the
Hasbro brass has confirmed what we all knew already: that everyone involved is
considering options for future Transformer outings. But the actual news is that
the next step might be to go all Matrix/Pirates and shoot two new outings back
to back.
Has speculation already started about who will play James Bond
when Daniel Craig decides not to return to the tuxedo? Or is
Hugh Jackman just throwing his hat into the ring early for a shot at
portraying the secret agent? Jackman claims he had the chance to play 007 when
Casino Royale was looking for its lead actor but turned the role
down. “I got a call from my agent saying, 'There is some possible interest in
you for Bond, are you interested?' At the time I wasn't. I was about to shoot
X-Men 2 and Wolverine had become this thing in my life and I didn't
want to be doing two such iconic characters at once.”
Marvel Comics has teased the return of Galactus in
Fantastic Four. The Fantastic Four #600 and Ff #12 shows the Devourer
of Worlds standing in a crater on what appears to be the moon. "Very soon, your
world is going to be broken," reads the caption. Fantastic Four will return with
the milestone issue after a hiatus following the apparent death of the Human
Torch in the 'Three' storyline.
Westlife have announced plans to tour the UK in 2012. The boyband will
play nine dates across the country in support of their Greatest Hits collection.
Westlife will perform their 14 number one hits during the show, as well as their
new material including upcoming single Lighthouse. The string of concerts
will start in Newcastle on May 14 and conclude at Glasgow's Secc on May 27.
Adele has revealed that she would like to go on a night out with
Prince Harry. The singer explained that when she tours America, her
fans think she is posh like the British monarch and that she has to insist that
she is actually "common". Adele told The Sun: "American people think I am posh
even though I am really not. They think I have a very British accent, as in: 'Do
you know the Queen?' "I just laugh at them. In England I am thought of as common
as muck."
Louis Walsh and Kelly Rowland are reportedly not
speaking after clashing on The X Factor over the weekend. The pair argued
when Walsh criticised singer Frankie Cocozza, telling the hopeful
that he had "lost his swagger". According to The Mirror, the Irish judge was
unhappy with Rowland for her comments to acts in his category.
Hannah Montana's sidekick now has his very own rap sheet.
Mitchel Musso, aka Oliver Oken on the Miley Cyrus
fronted series, was arrested for drunken driving yesterday in the L.A. suburb of
Burbank. Did we mention that Musso is only 20?
Kanye West and Jay-z have added five more dates to their
blockbuster Watch the Throne concert tour, including two more shows in
New York City, one in Chicago and one in Los Angeles.
Aaron Eckhart has signed on to play Dennis Wilson,
the legendary drummer, songwriter and heartthrob of The Beach Boys in
Randall Miller & Jody Savin’s The Drummer. The Drummer charts the
last six years of Wilson’s life in which he created some of the finest music of
his career. Eckhart is deep into training for the role, learning to play drums
and piano as well as training vocally to sing on screen in the picture.
After months of rumors, innuendo and speculation about a Black Sabbath
reunion, Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed the band has reconnected.
While speaking about his upcoming second book, "Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy,"
Osbourne touched on the swirling Sabbath reunion rumors. "Yes, it's a very, very
strong possibility," he says of getting the old band back together. "It's in the
very early stages, so we haven't recorded anything yet. If it works out, it'll
work out. If it doesn't, I'll keep doing my thing."
