In Time
Justin Timberlake and Amanda
Seyfried star in a sci-fi thriller set in a future
where time has become the ultimate currency. In a future
where time is literally money and aging stops at 25, the
only way to stay alive is to earn, steal, or inherit
more time. Will Salas lives minute to minute, until a
windfall of time gives him access to the world of the
wealthy, where he teams up with a beautiful young
heiress to destroy the corrupt system.

Captain America: The First Avenger
Marvel Comics' patriotic, shield slinging superhero leaps off the
page on to the big screen in an explosive new adventure. Chris Evans
stars as the scrawny but scrappy Steve Rogers, who receives the call of duty and
volunteers to particpate in an experimental program that transforms him into the
Super Soldier known as Captain America. Leading the charge, Rogers joins forces
with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization,
led by the villainous Red Skull.
The Buzz...
The popular 1990s sketch comedy show In Living Color is coming
back to FOX for another turn. The network has announced it will air two
30 minute specials of the show in Spring 2012. If the show performs well, it
could get picked up to series. Keenen Ivory Wayans, the
producer of the original, will again serve as executive producer. The series ran
for five seasons, from 1990-94. It served as a launching pad for numerous A-listers
including Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans, Jamie Foxx
and Chris Rock. It also help build the careers of Jennifer
Lopez, Carrie Ann Inaba and Rosie Perez as well as
numerous other comic actors. Some of the show's more notable sketches included
Homey D. Clown, Fire Marshall Bill and Men on Film.
Lady Gaga has seemingly worn every kind of outfit possible. But
the folks at PETA have come up with one more for the Queen Monster's
consideration; one made of lettuce. PETA India has asked the singer who once
wore a dress made of meat to wear and dine vegetarian while visiting the
country. The singer is traveling to India as part of the festivities for the
country's first Formula 1 race. By wearing a dress made of the green, leafy
stuff, PETA India hopes it will build awareness of their non meat eating goals.
They also believe it will demonstrate respect for the local culture that doesn't
eat beef.
Real World Chicago castmember Tonya Cooley
has filed suit against MTV, Bunim-Murray Productions, and
reality stars Kenneth Santucci and Evan Starkman,
claiming that she was sexually assaulted by Santucci and Starkman while filming
The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins, and that the producers of the
program did nothing to stop it.
Nicole Scherzinger is getting sexy as the new face of clothing
brand London Fog. The X Factor judge models the company’s
signature trench coats in its fall 2011 ad campaign. While London Fog is
something our parents wore growing up, the classic preppy look is totally
trending again right now! And with the cooler weather coming in, what better way
to dress up an outfit than with a trench coat? Nicole rocks the look in the ad
campaign, sporting a short black trench coat that shows off her killer legs. We
also love how she accessorized with a chunky bag. It’s flirty and sexy but in a
more put-together way.
Black Sabbath have rehearsed together with a view to reuniting,
guitarist Tony Iommi has confirmed. But while they'd love to get
back to work, he says it's not as simple as that, and they're all concerned with
the project backfiring. Iommi was angered when news of the reunion surfaced in
August following a conversion he had with a journalist two months previously. He
didn't deny he, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, and
Bill Ward had got together, but said he'd been "merely speculating."
Nancy Grace's right areola might have made an accidental cameo
during her quickstep routine on Dancing With the Stars last month, but
that's not stopping a handful of traumatized viewers from filing indecency
complaints with the Federal Communications Commission. Ok, so it's not the crime
of the century, but here's what they're saying: The Smoking Gun
obtained several copies of the objections sent to the FCC in the wake of the
Sept. 26 episode featuring the wardrobe malfunction and they relate the concerns
of a number of unidentified viewers.
Just when we were all thinking that there was no way the Bond 23
(or should we say Skyfall?) cast could get any classier, Sam Mendes
has gone and added Albert Finney to the line-up.
YouTube announced plans to create dozens of channels with original
content, constructing an online challenge to the television experience and
signaling the video giant's official leap into high quality programming.
Redbox, which operates more than 28,000 DVD-rental kiosks nationwide, has
announced that it’ll be increasing its daily rental prices for DVDs from $1 to
$1.20, effective starting on Halloween. (How’s that for a trick?) “This marks
the first price increase for a redbox standard definition DVD rental in eight
years,” said parent company Coinstar CEO Paul Davis.
Ozzy Osbourne has yet another hit on his hands. His new book,
Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy, has entered the New York Times Best Sellers List
in the #12 spot. Published October 11, it's part memoir and part advice columns;
the collection features the best of his writings from Rolling Stone
and the Sunday Times, with some additional material thrown in. The
publishers describe the book as 100% Ozzy, delivered with Ozzy's famous wit and
humor. Comprised of reader submitted medical and lifestyle questions, Ozzy digs
deep into his murky past, searching for pearls of "wisdom."
Hollywood actress Demi Moore has been accused of lashing out at a
paparazzo following a trip to a nail salon in Los Angeles. The angry star
allegedly lost her temper with the snapper when approached for a picture and is
said to have shouted obscenities at the photographer before reportedly lunging
at his camera.
Though Jennifer Lopez recently split from Marc Anthony
after 7 years of marriage, their pending divorce (her third!) has apparently
taught her a valuable lesson. "You've got to love yourself first," Lopez says in
Glamour's December issue, on newsstands November 8. "And until you value
yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can't really have a
healthy relationship."
