Young Keda tries to survive alone in the wilderness
after he's left for dead during his first hunt with his
Cro-Magnon tribe. He soon forms an unlikely alliance
with a lone wolf that was abandoned by its pack. Facing
overwhelming odds and nonstop danger, Keda and the wolf
must now trek through a harsh and unforgiving landscape
to make it home before winter.

Avengers: Infinity War
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to take on their
biggest villain yet: Thanos, the "Mad Titan." After his minions failed to
retrieve the Infinity Stones, Thanos heads to earth to get them for himself. He
plans to infuse them into a gauntlet that will give him the ultimate power over
space and time. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and the rest of
the Avengers gather together for one last stand against a foe who wields the
power of life and death. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never
been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to
this moment.

Sony has yet another reboot in the works. The television studio is
developing an update of the ’90s sitcom Designing Women. The
show’s original creator, Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, is
attached to lead the reboot. Designing Women ran for seven seasons on CBS,
before concluding on May 24, 1993, sharing a night with Murphy Brown,
that other classic comedy about to return to the network.
Taraji P. Henson shows off her funny side in the first trailer for comedy
What Men Want. The movie is a gender reversed take on the
2000 hit What Women Want, which starred Mel
Gibson and centered on a chauvinistic executive who gains the ability to
hear what women are really thinking. In the upcoming movie, Henson plays a
successful sports agent who is passed up for a well deserved promotion and
questions what else she needs to do to succeed in a man's world.
Former The Killing and Altered Carbon star Joel
Kinnaman, Patriot star Michael Dorman and
Damnation co-star Sarah Jones have been tapped as the leads in
Apple’s upcoming space drama series from Battlestar Galactica‘s
and Outlander‘s Ronald D. Moore.
Ethan Peck is about to boldly go where Leonard Nimoy
and Zachary Quinto have gone before. A veteran TV actor, Peck has
been cast to play the iconic Starfleet officer Spock in season two of CBS
All Access drama Star Trek: Discovery. Executive producer Alex
Kurtzman confirmed at Comic-Con in July that Spock, one of
the best loved characters in the Star Trek franchise and in all of
science fiction, would appear in season two of Discovery.
Hulu has renewed Castle Rock for a second season. The
anthology drama will return with a “wholly original” story in its second year,
the streamer’s senior vice president and head of content Craig Erwich
reveals.
Anthony Mackie is in negotiations to join Amy Adams
and Julianne Moore in Fox 2000’s adaptation of A.J. Finn’s
bestseller Woman in the Window.
Netflix has revealed on social media that its critically acclaimed series
Atypical will return for season 2 on September 7. Atypical is a coming of
age story that follows Sam (Keir Gilchrist), an 18 year old on the
autistic spectrum as he searches for love and independence.
Rob Heaps (Imposters), Zach Roerig (The
Vampire Diaries) and Paul Fitzgerald are set as
series regulars opposite Willa Fitzgerald, Herizen
Guardiola and Marlo Kelly in the USA Network
pilot Dare Me. Based on the acclaimed novel by Megan
Abbott, Dare Me is an unflinching exploration of volatile female
friendships, jealousy, loyalty and the dynamics of power in a small Midwestern
town.
Netflix’s Emmy Award winning children’s series Ask
the StoryBots has snagged an A-list cast of characters for its
second season, including Snoop Dogg as an Operating System and
Ed Norton as Gary the Electronics Salesman.
MTV’s Wild ‘N Out will return for its 12th season on Friday with a guest
roster that includes the likes of Ludacris, Rae Sremmurd,
WWE Superstar Sasha Banks, and Keeping Up With the
Kardashians mainstay Jonathan Cheban.
With Conan set to switch to a half-hour format beginning in January 2019,
the TBS show is doing away with regular musical performances to focus
more on comedy and what host Conan O’Brien calls a “leaner” late-night
program.
Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel says he has left
the Bravo reality series, according to E!. Ravenel’s reported departure
comes three months after the show’s production company and Bravo said they were
investigating Ravenel following allegations of sexual misconduct made against
him.
