Black Panther

Universal's Fifty Shades Freed seduced audiences in its worldwide debut,
grossing $136.9 million and propelling the female fueled franchise past the $1
billion mark in global box-office ticket sales. In North America, Fifty Shades
Freed easily dominated, coming in No. 1 with $38.8 million, the top opening of
the year to date.
Legendary rockers Styx will headline two of this year's hottest concert
lineups. The multi-platinum selling band will join forces once again with fellow
legends REO Speedwagon, and very special guest star Don
Felder (formerly of the Eagles) for a month long trek that starts
March 13 in Duluth, MN at the Amsoil Arena. Styx
will then team up with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Tesla for a
summer U.S. tour that kicks off May 30 in Irvine, CA at the
FivePoint Amphitheatre.
Sci-fi classic vehicle V is being revived as a film by Desilu
Studios, with the new version of the former TV series written and directed
by the original ’80s series creator, Kenneth Johnson. Called V
The Movie, the film’s casting and a release date are not yet determined.
Victoria Beckham, who was first known to the world as "Posh
Spice", is putting to rest the rumor that she and the rest of the gals
would be going on tour. Becks, Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm,
Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie "Mel
B" Brown all sat down together for a lunch in London, and the
Internet went crazy with delight, hoping they'd be hitting the road together
soon. But the popstar turned designer made it clear: the Spice Girls
are not touring.
The sale of the Weinstein Company, which was supposed to be
completed this weekend, was thrown in turmoil as the outgoing board of directors
rejected a settlement offer by New York Attorney General Eric
Schneiderman over civil rights violations.
Mark Millar revealed that should the new comic book series
Kick-Ass make it to the big screen, his choice for the role of Patience
would be Tessa Thompson, and now the Thor: Ragnarok star
has responded to Millar’s comments, stating that she’d be “highly interested” in
the role.
Before Justice League hit theaters, rumors abounded that the black
super-suit that Superman wore in the comics would make an appearance in
the film. No such suit appeared in the theatrical cut, but a new Justice League
deleted scene reveals the black suit was indeed featured at one point.
It looks like Amy Schumer is officially off the market! The I
Feel Pretty actress seemingly just confirmed her rumored romance with chef
Chris Fischer on Instagram.
Elton John is rescheduling two performances of The
Million Dollar Piano in Las Vegas that were originally set for
May 18 and 19, the weekend of Prince Harry and Meghan
Markle‘s wedding.
