At The Movies

Winchester
After the sudden death of her family, firearms heiress Sarah Winchester becomes convinced that she's haunted by the souls of those killed by guns. Winchester then decides to build an enormous mansion that's designed to keep the evil spirits at bay. When skeptical psychiatrist Eric Price visits the estate to evaluate her state of mind, he soon discovers that her obsession may not be so far-fetched after all.

On DVD

Professor Marston & the Wonder Women
If behind every great man is a great woman, then Harvard psychologist and inventor Dr. William Moulton Marston has the good fortune of having two, his wife Elizabeth and their mutual lover Olive Byrne. In addition to helping him perfect the lie detector test, the two women also inspire him to create one of the greatest female superheroes of all time, the beloved comic book character Wonder Woman.

James Corden’s second crack at hosting the Grammy Awards was nothing compared to his first. Sunday’s CBS special earned a 12.7 household rating/21 share in overnight numbers, according to preliminary Nielsen numbers. That’s down from a 16 rating/26 share for the 2017 telecast.

Despite initial reports that Steven Spielberg would make his West Side Story remake the next film on his schedule, The Hollywood Reporter is suggesting the musical will remain on the back-burner whilst the director finds the right cast, pushing the filming of Indiana Jones 5 to the top of the list.

KFC has been actively utilizing its chicken mascot, Colonel Sanders in a number of unique ways over the past year or better. With several celebrities signing up to show off their skills as the iconic creator of the fast food chicken chain, one thing that hasn’t been done yet is a female Colonel Sanders. Country music legend Reba McEntire has agreed to showcase her talents in true campy fashion with her first commercial portraying the Colonel.
