Sicario: Day of the Soldado
FBI agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) calls
on mysterious operative Alejandro Gillick (Benicio
Del Toro) when Mexican drug cartels start
to smuggle terrorists across the U.S. border. The war
escalates even further when Alejandro kidnaps a top
kingpin's daughter to deliberately increase the
tensions. When the young girl is seen as collateral
damage, the two men will determine her fate as they
question everything that they are fighting for.

The life of Hollywood star Heather Anderson's (Zoe Kravitz)
assistant Jill LeBeau is turned upside down after she arrives at Anderson's
house and witnesses a horrific crime scene and Anderson dead from a gunshot
wound to the head. Now under suspicion, Jill must convince Detective Ahn (John
Cho) of her innocence while trying to find those responsible for
Anderson's murder. In the process, Jill struggles with her own flaws and inner
demons while attempting to discover the truth.

Jared Leto, who played The Joker in Suicide Squad,
is looking to add another comic book character to his resume. The Oscar
winning actor has signed on to star in Morbius, Sony’s latest entry into
its Marvel based, Spider Man universe of characters.
Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union will star in a new
Bad Boys Spinoff Series. A spinoff of the Bad Boys movie
franchise, the cop drama "follows Syd Burnett (Union), last seen in Miami taking
down a drug cartel, who has left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD
detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Alba), a working mom with
an equally complex past, Syd is pushed to examine whether her unapologetic
lifestyle might be masking a greater personal secret.
Flip or Flop star Christina El Moussa has signed a deal with
HGTV to air her own show, Christina on the Coast, on the cable
channel. In the new series, Christina will transform Southern California
clients’ outdated properties into high-end showplaces. It also will put the
spotlight on her personal journey after her split with husband Tarek, per HGTV’s
description.
Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family, passed away at
3:30 Am Wednesday in L.A. Joe was hospitalized in June with terminal cancer. His
family had been flocking to his bedside since.
HBO has cast Jeremy Irons in a leading role for Damon
Lindelof’s upcoming pilot for his adaptation of Alan Moore’s
Watchmen graphic novel series. Details on Irons’ role, aside from the
fact it’s a lead, are being kept under wraps. Irons joins a cast that includes
Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake
Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Adelaide Clemens
and Andrew Howard.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter
will be stepping behind the camera in an upcoming episode in Season 3 of the
Netflix drama series, making her directorial debut.
Disney Channel has found their Wade. Issac Ryan Brown
has joined the network's upcoming Kim Possible TV movie. As reported
earlier, Disney Channel is producing a live action movie based on the animated
TV series Kim Possible.

For its latest act, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale has
welcomed a familiar face, or voice, rather, to the world of Gilead: Oprah

drama, titled Holly.
