Solo: A Star Wars Story
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far,
far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all new
adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy.
Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark
and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo (Alden
Ehrenreich) meets his mighty future copilot
Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando
Calrissian (Donald Glover), in a journey
that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s
most unlikely heroes. Respected director Ron
Howard does a wonderful turn as a first time Star
Wars director.

Game Night
Max (Jason Bateman) and Annie's (Rachel McAdams)
weekly game night gets kicked up a notch when Max's brother Brooks (Kyle
Chandler) arranges a murder mystery party, complete with fake thugs and
federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it's all supposed to be part of
the game. As the competitors set out to solve the case, they start to learn that
neither the game nor Brooks are what they seem to be. The friends soon find
themselves in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn
over the course of one chaotic night.

The Expanse could find new life on Amazon. The streaming
giant is in talks to pick up the sci-fi series for what would be its fourth
season. The news comes after NBCUniversal owned cable network Syfy
announced they would not be picking up the show again once its third season
concludes in June.
Halle Berry and Anjelica Huston are joining the cast
of Lionsgate’s third installment of its hit franchise John
Wick: Chapter 3. It was already announced that Keanu Reeves,
Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane as well as Lance
Reddick are returning for the Chad Stahelski directed film,
which will go through Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment label for a May 17, 2019
release.
Following the news that Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks to play
Mysterio in the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, there are new
reports on further developments from the world of the Sinister Six,
with the story that Michael Keaton will reprise his role as The
Vulture. Last seen incarcerated during the end credits of Spider-Man:
Homecoming, Adrian Toomes (Keaton) is confronted by another potential member of
the Sinister Six, Mac Margan, aka The Scorpion, so
this could mean that fans are getting the origin of Peter Parker’s nemesis
posse.
Charlize Theron is set to play Megyn Kelly in
Annapurna Pictures’ film about the sexual misconduct allegations
aimed at former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes.
Cheyenne Jackson has been cast in Disney’s Descendants
3, in the role of Hades, the underworld ruler from the 1997 Disney
animated film Hercules. The movie is set to begin production shortly for
a scheduled debut in 2019, and Jackson will join the cast of Dove
Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson and
Booboo Stewart.
Charlie Day says he and the other stars of It’s Always Sunny in
Philadelphia are hoping the show will go for 15 seasons, which would make it
the longest running live action sitcom in history.
Chinese exhibition giant Dadi has pre-bought mainland China distribution
rights to Sylvester Stallone fronted action sequels The
Expendables 4 and Rambo 5 from Avi Lerner’s
Millenium Media.
Hugh Grant is reportedly getting married to his girlfriend of six
years, Anna Eberstein, later this month. The Kensington and
Chelsea register office posted wedding banns revealing the couple has set a date
for their nuptials.
The Billboard Music Awards were packed with the music industry's biggest
and brightest talents, chief among them Janet Jackson. After
witnessing performances from artists like Ariana Grande,
Christina Aguilera, and Demi Lovato, the audience got
to see Jackson, who picked up the night's Icon Award, hit the
stage for her first televised performance in nine years.
