Men In Black: International
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa
Thompson star as Agent H and Agent M, who employ
high-tech weaponry to battle mischievous aliens on
Earth. However, the pair also discover a major threat
within their own ranks. Its fun to see Tessa Thompson &
Chris Hemsworth working together again after Thor:
Ragnarok & Avengers: Endgame. With a quick
runtime of just a 115 minutes, this movie is packed with
comedy, visual effects & stunning action scenes. A great
addition to the MIB series for new and old fans.

Captain Marvel
Set in the 1990's, the film revolves around Carol Danvers (Brie Larson),
a crack air force pilot. Though trials and tribulations she becomes one of the
galaxy's mightiest heroes and joins an elite outer space military team known as
Starforce. Her membership in the Kree military team puts her in danger when
Earth becomes hopelessly stuck in battle between two other alien worlds, forcing
Danvers to take on the role of Captain Marvel and use her new powers for the
greater good. Despite her mighty power, Captain Marvel will discover things
about herself she never hoped to know.

VH1 has ordered a new reality series Girls Cruise starring
Lil’ Kim. The rapper will also executive produce the series for Big
Fish Entertainment. The show will also star Chilli from the
1990s girls group TLC, as well as international pop star Mýa,
Pretty Vee and B. Simone of MTV’s Wild N’ Out, and
their longtime best friends Tiffany and Char.
Sandra Bullock’s college experience is the inspiration for a
dramedy series set in the world of music and dance. Created and written by
K.C. Perry (Constance) loosely inspired by Bullock’s college years,
the show is described as a hilarious, boundary-crossing, and often soul
wrenching trek through the oppressive cultural norms of the deep south in the
1980s, where one darkly off-beat young woman defies expectations and sets out in
search of love, community, and most importantly, an identity of her own.
WarnerMedia's forthcoming streaming service is poised to explore the
world of Dune. The yet unnamed platform has handed out a straight to
series order for Dune: The Sisterhood, a female focused take on Frank
Herbert's beloved novel. Denis Villeneuve, who wrote,
produced and directed next year's new take on Dune, will helm the pilot.
Sam Rockwell is in final negotiations to star in Clint
Eastwood’s next drama The Ballad of Richard Jewell. Eastwood is
directing and producing through his Malpaso production banner. Tim
Moore, Jessica Meier, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s
partners Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Kevin
Misher are also producing. The film is a drama based on the real-life
security guard whose world was turned upside down after law enforcement leaked
to an overzealous reporter at the Atlanta Journal Constitution
that Jewell was a possible suspect for the pipe-bombing at Centennial Park
during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Geena Davis has joined the cast of Glow for the Netflix
wrestling comedy’s upcoming third season. Davis will guest star as Sandy
Devereaux St. Clair, the former showgirl turned entertainment director of the
Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, appearing in five of Season 3’s 10 episodes.
Netflix has picked up Ubisoft Motion Pictures’ film
adaption of the Tom Clancy video game The Division.
The movie is set to star Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica
Chastain and it will be directed by Hobbs And Shaw and
Deadpool 2 helmer David Leitch.
When it was announced that Jordan Peele was producing a remake
reboot of the classic slasher film Candyman, many film fans were left
scratching their heads. Peele, who has made a big name for himself in the horror
genre with his films Get Out and Us, isn’t the first
filmmaker you’d think of for a remake of a schlocky, not so great ‘90s horror
film.
Bo Burnham is on his way to Sesame Street. The
director is set to contribute songs to a Warner Bros. live-action
adaptation of the popular children’s show, which will hit theaters Jan. 15,
2021. Portlandia director and co-creator Jonathan Krisel is
helming the musical, co-financed by Warner Bros. and MGM.
Viacom plans to launch a streaming service focused on the African
American cable network called BET+. The upcoming service, which will
launch in the fall, will feature original content from Tyler Perry,
who will be a financial stake holder in the service.
Nickelodeon has found the members of its new Midnight Society for the
upcoming Are You Afraid of the Dark? limited series. The three episode
revival will premiere this October and follow an entirely new group of kids who
tell a terrifying tale about the Carnival of Doom, only to have the events of
the story come to life.
