Pokémon Detective Pikachu
Ace detective Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing,
prompting his 21 year old son, Tim, to find out what
happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry's former
Pokémon partner, wise-cracking, adorable super sleuth
Detective Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds). Finding
that they are uniquely equipped to work together, as Tim
is the only human who can talk with Pikachu, they join
forces to unravel the tangled mystery.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
The citizens of Bricksburg face a dangerous new threat when LEGO DUPLO invaders
from outer space start to wreck everything in their path. The battle to defeat
the enemy and restore harmony to the LEGO universe takes Emmet, Lucy, Batman and
the rest of their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds that test their courage
and creativity. Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks,
Will Arnett, Tiffany Haddish and Charlie Day
are some of the major voice talents.

Sonic the Hedgehog director Jeff Fowler has
given in to fan backlash over the title character’s physical appearance. The
filmmaker took to social media May 2 to promise fans a redesign of the character
will take place to correct the apparent issue before the movie’s November
release date. The movie version of Sonic has been the center of fan backlash
ever since Paramount debuted the film’s first poster December 10. The
movie character appears more muscular and furrier than his original video game
counterpart, plus Sonic’s eyes have been rendered differently.
Rock juggernaut Hairball returns to Bayfront Festival
Park on July 3rd for the 9th annual party in the park. Don’t confuse
Hairball with any other 80’s Tribute bands. Hairball is an attitude, an
expression of music and showmanship that is a way of life. The lights, sound,
video screens, smoke, fire, and the screaming fans is an experience you just

Evan Rachel Wood will star alongside Jim Sturgess
and Shinobu Terajima in One Thousand Paper
Cranes, the story of Hiroshima survivor Sadako Sasaki and
author Eleanor Coerr, who wrote the worldwide bestselling
children’s book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes.
Set It Up stars Zoey Deutch and Glen
Powell are teaming up for a new movie along with the filmmakers behind
the popular Netflix romantic comedy, which premiered last June. It's not
a sequel to the rom-com, which also stars Lucy Liu and Taye
Diggs, but it will deliver on all of your heartwarming meets funny needs.
It's tentatively titled Most Dangerous Game, and it will
begin production in early 2020.
Variety took home a Daytime Creative Arts Emmy
award for its Actors on Actors series. Variety Studio: Actors on
Actors is a production with PBS SoCal that features two actors
discussing their craft and thoughts on Hollywood.
Fist Fight director Richie Keen has signed direct a
previously announced eSports comedy at Legendary Pictures that has
Will Ferrell attached to star. Keen has directed segments of
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Goldbergs and the
Kathy Bates Netflix series Disjointed. He will direct
from a script by Jordan Dunn and Michael Kvamme with
Ferrell starring as a member of a professional eSports team, competing in a
sport where players usually retire in their 20s due to slowing hand-eye
coordination.
E! has picked up Very Cavallari and Revenge Body
with Khloé Kardashian for third seasons, Additionally, the
network has renewed Dating #NoFilter for a second season, with new
episodes premiering later this year.
