A detective and a trooper travel to a lush estate to
interview the quirky relatives of a patriarch who died
during his 85th birthday celebration. Our beloved Crime
Novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer)
is found dead in his study in the morning after his 85th
birthday by the housekeeper Fran (Edi Patterson).
Now it's up to our experienced Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel
Craig) to solve the case. Rian Johnson's
Direction is a masterpiece, he keeps the audience
guessing till the very end of the film, he tells us
everything we need to know in deep, the truth that opens
up in the climax will shock the audience . The location
is outstanding, as well as the background music, and he
has done justice to each and every character.

The Buzz...
Angelina Jolie has signed with WME after spending most of
the past decade with UTA. Jolie is coming off the Disney sequel
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which is close to grossing $500 million
worldwide. In recent years, the woman who is one of the world’s most
recognizable movie stars has focused more on directing and producing than
acting. As of late that has changed as Jolie has lined up a number of prominent
acting jobs including the lead role in Marvel’s Eternals, set for release
next year.
James Gunn's reboot of The Suicide Squad
starring Idris Elba and Margot Robbie will have all
the violence and f-bombs our little minds can handle. What I mean is James
Gunn's The Suicide Squad will probably be rated R. This update comes from a
piece that lets us know Warner Bros. and DC are becoming
more and more comfortable putting out R-rated content for adults following the
success of Todd Phillips' Joker with Joaquin
Pheonix. And it seems like this is the smart way to go as 20th
Century Fox's R-rated comic book movies Deadpool, Deadpool
2, and Logan were also massive successes.
Ariana Grande's Thanksgiving was extra sweet this year. For the
first time in nearly two decades, the superstar, on a break from her
Sweetener tour, celebrated the holiday with both her mom Joan
Grande and dad Edward Butera.
K-pop superstars Jung Joon-young and Choi
Jong-hoon were sentenced six and five years in prison respectively on
Friday for raping drunk, unconscious women, multiple outlets confirm. Jung was
also charged with making videos of the assaults and distributing the footage.
Though both singers said the acts were consensual.
Friends holiday episode. The star-studded guest list included
Courteney Cox, Jimmy Kimmel, Jason Bateman,
Will Arnett and, of course, her ex Justin Theroux.
Yes, despite their split, Jen and Justin are still grateful for one another.
You'll want to keep up with Kanye West's latest music video. The
rapper dropped the visual for Closed on Sunday on
Thanksgiving, and it stars a handful of very familiar faces. Shot on what
appears to be his sprawling Wyoming ranch, the video opens on West, Kim
Kardashian and their four children North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, alone
on a mountain side.
French Montana is feeling extra grateful this Thanksgiving. More
than a week after he was first hospitalized, the rapper took to Instagram
with a positive update on his prognosis. "Thank you everyone for all of the
prayers, love and support," he shared alongside a photo of him standing next to
his hospital bed. "I'm finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a
time!!!"
Frozen 2 is generating plenty of heat at the North American box
office, with more than $200 million its first week. Disney’s animated
sequel earned $14.7 million at 4,440 locations on Thursday, just short of the
Thanksgiving Day record set in 2013 by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. |
