Yellowstone
An American drama television series created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson that premiered on June 20, 2018 on the Paramount Network. It stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, and Gil Birmingham. Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. The ranch is under constant attack by those it borders land developers, an Indian reservation, and United States of America's first national park. It is an intense study of a violent world far from media scrutiny, where land grabs earn developers billions, and politicians are bought and sold by the world's largest oil, natural gas, and lumber corporations. Where unsolved murders are not news, they are a consequence of living in the new frontier. It is the best and worst of the United States as seen through the eyes of a family that represents both.

The Buzz...

Fashion designer Michael Costello has slammed Kylie Jenner, claiming she does not give fashion designers enough credit. Jenner posed for the camera in a bright blue and orange sparkly dress by French designer Olivier Rousteing. The slideshow of images showed Jenner, who turned 23 on Monday, standing at the bottom of a staircase pulling a series of sultry poses. “Thank you my love @olivier_rousteing for the most perfect bday dress,” she captioned the post.

Kelly Clarkson fired back at a Twitter troll who blamed her divorce from Brandon Blackstock on her ever demanding career. On Aug. 10, Clarkson confirmed she would temporarily be filling in for America's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell as he recovers from a back injury, prompting one social media hater to cross a major line. The tweet read, "...no wonder her marriage didn't work.

Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson have split, according to new reports. An insider tells Page Six the pair recently called it quits on the nine-month romance, and Cyrus appeared to hint at another love split on Instagram while promoting her self directed video for new single Midnight Sky.

A former staffer from The Ellen DeGeneres Show has alleged the atmosphere in the workplace was “like The Devil Wears Prada.” The former camera assistant, who remained anonymous during the interview, compared the working environment to the 2006 film, based on the 2003 novel of the same name, about a college graduate who works for a domineering fashion magazine editor in New York City.

Louis C.K. was met with a frosty reception when he appeared onstage as a “surprise guest” at Dave Chappelle’s recent comedy show. The disgraced comedian has rarely performed since he was accused of sexual misconduct and public masturbation by multiple women in 2017, actions he has since apologized for.

Olivia Munn is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations for a multiyear deal with the returning G4 Network. The actress is planning to return to her roots at G4, where she started her professional career as an anchor on TV series Attack of the Show, with the new contract.

A new Star Wars holiday special produced with Legos will debut on Walt Disney Co’s Disney+ streaming service in November. The special will feature Rey and other characters from the most recent Star Wars movie trilogy. It will take place on Chewbacca’s home planet of Kashyyyk and focus on Life Day, an important holiday in the galaxy far, far away. Life Day was first introduced in a 1978 “Star Wars” holiday variety special that was widely panned by TV audiences.

Oscar nominated actor Jonathan Pryce is reportedly stepping into the role of Britain’s Prince Philip for the final two series of The Crown. The Two Popes star, 73, will take on the role of Queen Elizabeth II’s husband in series five and six of the hit Netflix royal drama, alongside Imelda Staunton as the monarch herself.

Dolly Parton will be decking the halls this Christmas by releasing her first holiday album in 30 years. A Holly Dolly Christmas will be released on Oct. 2, and the country queen reveals it will be dedicated to the memory of Burl Ives, who had a big hit with A Holly Jolly Christmas in 1964.

Ozzy Osbourne’s upcoming biopic will be for adults only. The rocker’s manager wife, Sharon, who is helping to develop the film with the couple’s son, Jack, reveals the project will be R-rated, because no one wants to water down the former Black Sabbath star’s crazy life. Sharon Osbourne insists Ozzy’s biopic will be nothing like Bohemian Rhapsody, which chronicled the lives of Freddie Mercury and his Queen bandmates.
