Bloodshot
After he and his wife are murdered, marine Ray
Garrison (Vin Diesel) is resurrected by a
team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he
becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine;
Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super
soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former
life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers
the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out
of the facility to get revenge, only to discover that
there's more to the conspiracy than he thought. Good
action popcorn muncher.

Star Wars: Episode IX - Rise Of Skywalker
When it's discovered that the evil Emperor Palpatine did not die at the hands of
Darth Vader, the rebels must race against the clock to find out his whereabouts.
Finn and Poe lead the Resistance to put a stop to the First Order's plans to
form a new Empire, while Rey (Daisy Ridley) anticipates her
inevitable confrontation with Kylo Ren. JJ Abrams and the rest of the film
crew/writers have heard the fans, listened, and finally created the Star Wars
movie that everyone wanted to see. It has plenty of twists and turns, a deep
delving into Star Wars mythology, finally introducing some of the great
storytelling that might get missed, unless you’re into the animated series,
books and comics.

Britney Spears was “obviously joking” when she claimed she
completed a 100 metre sprint faster than world record holder Usain
Bolt. The Toxic hitmaker, who broke her foot in February, took to
Instagram on Wednesday to post a screenshot of her stopwatch timer paused at
5.97 seconds as she shared words of fitness encouragement.
Ariana Grande celebrated the 10th anniversary of her teen sitcom
Victorious by remembering the experience as some of the “most special
years” of her life. The pop superstar began her career on Broadway, but rose to
fame after playing Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon show, which ran for
four seasons from 2010. Victorious, created by Dan Schneider, was set in a
Hollywood performing arts school and centered on an aspiring singer, portrayed
by Victoria Justice.
Johnny Depp has scored a key legal victory in his $50 million
court battle against ex-wife Amber Heard after her request for a
dismissal was denied. The Pirates of the Caribbean star is suing Heard
for defamation in Virginia over an article she wrote in December, 2018 for The
Washington Post, in which she referred to herself as “a public
figure representing domestic abuse.”
Kim Kardashian has followed her sister Kylie Jenner’s
lead and pledged $1 million to combat the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took to Instagram to announce
the generous donation, made with proceeds from a new restock of her SKIMS
shapewear collection, which will go directly to help struggling families.

Ryan Reynolds is in talks to star in and produce a live action
feature adaptation of the ’80s arcade game Dragon’s Lair for Netflix.
Dragon’s Lair was originally released for arcades in 1983 by Cinematronics.
The game used laserdisc technology and offered superior graphics and feature
film quality animation from Don Bluth Studios.
After a surprising breakout performance in season 3 of Stranger Things
and a small but memorable role in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon
A Time In Hollywood, Maya Hawke is now leaning into her
musical talents with the upcoming release of her full-length debut album, titled
Blush.
ABC is pulling the plug on the remaining episodes of Grey’s Anatomy
this season. The medical drama will not resume production to complete its
season, the network announced Friday. The episode titled Put on a Happy Face,
set to air Thursday, April 9, will now serve as the season finale. |
