Enola Holmes (Netflix)
On the morning of her 16th birthday, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) wakes to find that her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) has disappeared, leaving behind an odd assortment of gifts but no apparent clue as to where she's gone or why. After a free spirited childhood, Enola suddenly finds herself under the care of her brothers Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin), both set on sending her away to a finishing school for "proper" young ladies. Refusing to follow their wishes, Enola escapes to search for her mother in London. But when her journey finds her entangled in a mystery surrounding a young runaway Lord (Louis Partridge), Enola becomes a super-sleuth in her own right, outwitting her famous brother as she unravels a conspiracy that threatens to set back the course of history.

Console Wars (CBS All Access)
From executive producers Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg comes Console Wars, a look at the battle between Nintendo and Sega as they rose to become the most influential gaming systems of their time. Take a trip back to the 80s and 90s when Nintendo dominated the world of video games. That was about to change, as Sega started making moves in the market, and Nintendo had its first real competition. Under Nintendo, Mario was the lead, lovable playable character, and Sega needed an icon to compete with his fame. Enter an unexpected challenger: Sonic the Hedgehog. Console Wars documents the inflamed battle that played out in the early years of video games, and find out why Congress had to get involved as “uniquely American capitalism” was pitted against “centuries-old Japanese tradition.”

The Buzz...

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are parents of two! On Sept. 25, after months of speculation, the singer and 3actress secretly welcomed a boy earlier this year as Justin's former *Nsync group member Lance Bass spoke about the couple's new addition. "The baby is cute of course, it's Justin and Jessica!", remaining tight lipped about added details.

Rihanna has hit back at a social media user who left an “ignorant” comment on a lingerie photo she used to promote sunscreen. The Umbrella hitmaker took to Instagram on Sunday to share a sultry shot of herself posing in a lace bra with lotion under her eyes, while promoting her newly-launched Fenty skincare products. “Just protecting my melanin while they try to eradicate it! @fentyskin #FentySkinStartRs mini gang!” the singer and fashionista captioned the shot. The shot prompted one user of the photo-sharing site to quip: “It’s winter now,” suggesting sunscreen doesn’t need to be worn in colder weather.

James Cameron provided his Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger with an update on the Avatar sequels during a recent chat for the 2020 Austrian World Summit. Speaking by video conference from New Zealand, Cameron said, “We’re 100% complete on Avatar 2 and sort of 95% complete on Avatar 3.” He added that the team is currently working on shooting the remainder of the live action.

Christopher Nolan’s Tenet has topped $280 million worldwide, dominating a mild U.S. box office with $3.4 million at 2,850 locations in its fourth weekend to go past $41 million domestically in four weeks. The Warner Bros. tentpole, which carries a hefty $200 million price tag, took in a weekend total of $19.2 million worldwide in 58 markets. The U.S. posted the top number with a 26% decline, followed by Japan with $3 million in its second weekend and a 30% decline.

Sienna Miller, who co-starred in 21 Bridges with Chadwick Boseman, revealed that the late actor contributed a portion of his salary from the film to her so she could continue working as a co-producer on the movie. Boseman also played a vital role in securing her the role of detective Frankie Burns in the film.

The Simpsons premiered its record 32nd season on Sunday night to big numbers, mainly thanks to a strong NFL lead-in. The return of Homer, Marge and co. delivered a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 and drew 5.5 million total viewers. That’s more than double the previous season premiere on both metrics, with the caveat that the football gave it a 4.8 and 15 million viewer lead-in. The rest of Fox’s Animation Domination Sunday schedule also put up good numbers.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex has denied reports the pair are working on a reality TV show for Netflix. The couple recently signed a deal to produce content for the streaming giant, and it was reported they would be opening up their lives to the cameras in a series as part of the package.

Evan Rachel Wood has no regrets about quitting Twitter earlier this year, insisting it’s one of the “best decisions I ever made”. The Westworld star told Variety that she was fed up of accidentally hitting headlines through expressing her opinions.
