Shortly after his seventeenth birthday, Mark begins to
develop powers of his own and enters into his father’s
tutelage. He soon discovers his father's legacy may not
be as heroic as it seems. An amazing effort from the
people that brought you The Walking Dead, this is not a
kids cartoon by any means.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers (Disney +)
Set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have
evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra competitive,
powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12 year old Evan
Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the
Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to
build their own team of misfits to challenge the
cutthroat, win at all costs culture of youth sports
today. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez)
who has since become a despondent owner of a low level
ice rink, they rediscover the joys of playing just for
love of the game.

Colette Hughes (Hilary Swank), an industrious lawyer who
holds herself to impossible standards, has just taken on
a new client, Eleanor Riese (Helena Bonham Carter).
Riese, a hospital patient of immense mental distress, is
under psychiatric care at a San Francisco hospital.
Hughes' case requires her to fight for mental health
rights. Riese takes on a case of her own: getting Hughes
to abandon her workaholic nature. As their missions are
underway, Hughes and Riese take no prisoners.

treatment for a potential prequel series. The action man gave fans a glimpse at

show, which he is eager to pitch to online platform bosses.

Ariana Grande is taking over Nick Jonas’ seat on the coaching panel of The Voice
for the upcoming Season 21. The Positions hitmaker will join returning stars

this year, with Nick expected to join the rotation of coaches who will be back

Prince fans will be able to mark the fifth anniversary of the Grammy winner’s

HBO Max is adapting the true crime docuseries The Staircase into a scripted
limited series that will star Colin Firth as American novelist Michael Peterson,
who was on trial in 2001 for killing his wife. The writer claimed that his wife
died at their home after falling down the stairs, but a medical examiner
determined that she had been bludgeoned to death, turning Peterson into a murder
suspect.
Netflix will buy the rights to produce two sequels to Knives Out with director
Rian Johnson and star Daniel Craig set to return to the franchise. An individual
tells TheWrap the deal for the second and third films is worth more than $400
million, while another individual says reported figures are inaccurate.
Britney Spears has broken her silence on the Framing Britney Spears documentary.
In an Instagram post that features her dancing to Aerosmith’s Crazy, Spears
addressed the doc for the first time, writing that she hasn’t watched it but was
“embarrassed” by the parts she did see and “cried for two weeks.”
A24 has released the official trailer for Zola, which will release theatrically
on June 30. Based on the infamous Twitter thread posted by A’Ziah Wells King,
the film follows a Detroit waitress named Zola (Taylour Paige) who strikes up a
new friendship with a customer, Stefani (Riley Keough), who convinces her to
join a weekend of dancing and partying in Florida. What at first seems like a
glamorous trip full of “hoeism” rapidly transforms into a 48-hour journey
involving a nameless pimp, an idiot boyfriend, some Tampa gangsters and other
unexpected adventures.
The release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been delayed one week from Sept.
17 to Sept. 24. The sequel, which stars Tom Hardy, was most recently pushed to
September from June 25 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The one-week delay of Venom
2 means that the movie will no longer premiere on the same day as murder mystery
Death of the Nile and the animated children’s film The Boss Baby: Family
Business.
Netflix may be breathing new life into the To All the Boys film franchise, with
a spinoff TV series in early development starring Anna Cathcart. A half hour
romantic comedy series from Awesomeness Productions and Ace Entertainment is
being eyed at the streamer.
Young Sheldon has been renewed for three more seasons at CBS. That means the Big
Bang Theory prequel series will be on the air until at least 2024. The series
debuted in 2017, with its fourth season currently airing. Season 5 will debut
during the 2021-2022 broadcast television season.
Coming 2 America, the long awaited sequel to Eddie Murphy’s 1988 Coming to
America, was the most-streamed title in the U.S. the week of its premiere,
according to new Nielsen data.
