Mortal Kombat
MMA fighter Cole Young seeks out Earth's greatest
champions in order to stand against the enemies of
Outworld in a high stakes battle for the universe.
Mortal Kombat is a mysterious, intergalactic tournament
of ancient martial arts. Shaolin Monk Liu Kang, from
Earth, gets invited as a competitor. The movie has a
fine mix of action and gore. The fighting chorography
was amazing especially from both Scorpion & Sub-Zero and
the fatalities and brutalities were just enough for
anyone who's a fan to Mortal Kombat. Not for the younger
kids.

Gunda
A pig and her litter, a one legged chicken, and some
cows are the main cast in this fine documentary, Gunda,
Viktor Kosakovskiy's understated cinematic plea
for animal rights. Gunda is an enormous sow that has
just given birth to a dozen small piglets. This is their
story of life down on the farm. This is not your cute
animal film, though it has that too. It's more akin to
those moments of serenity and joy that can arise when we
are watching babies move or small children explore. We
feel both intimacy and otherness, and perhaps even
bewilderment.

Crisis
Drugs bring negativity to the lives of people at every
step along the way to getting in the user's hands.
Cartels work together to smuggle Fentanyl between Canada
and the United States. A former OxyContin addict
discovers a secret kept by her son in regards to illegal
narcotics. A professor deals with unexpected struggles
as he tries to research a painkiller that is non
addictive. Drug addiction is certainly one Crisis that
needs the full attention of society. Gary
Oldman, Armie Hammer, Evangeline
Lilly, Greg Kinnear and Michelle
Rodriguez headline this talented roster of
actors.
The Buzz...
Justin Bieber is reportedly set to make a cameo appearance in the
Friends reunion. The pop star has been convinced by the show’s producers
to wear character Ross Geller’s famous Spudnik potato costume for the upcoming
HBO Max special.
While the small things certainly matter in a relationship, the larger romantic
gestures are definitely pretty sweet. Kourtney Kardashian posted
on her Instagram Story a video showing an enormous and extravagant
arrangement of at least white 200 tulips displayed on a floor in her house and
resting underneath a hanging installation of other white flowers. She tagged her
boyfriend Travis Barker in the clip, adding a black heart.
Clueless star Elisa Donovan’s eating disorder battle was so
bad while she was making the cult 1995 movie, she almost had a heart attack. The
actress made the shocking confession during an appearance on the Celebrity
Catch Up: Life after That Thing I Did podcast, revealing she was
in denial about anorexia while playing dizzy Amber, opposite Alicia
Silverstone, in the film.
Actor Dominic Purcell, who plays Mick Rory, aka Heatwave, on
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, said he is “walking away” from the show, in an
Instagram he posted.

Bradshaw’s doting ex Aidan Shaw, will be a recurring player in the upcoming
reboot of Sex and the City on HBO Max.
The final season of HBO’s blockbuster series Game of Thrones
garnered headlines for costing $90 million (aka $15 million per episode), but
that price tag is chump change compared to the millions Amazon is
reportedly spending on its upcoming Lord of the Rings
television series. Early reports in 2018 pegged at least two seasons of “Rings”
costing Amazon in the $500 million range.
The Dave Grohl directed series about musicians and their mothers
has been given a start date, with a May 16 premiere for a Paramount
Plus show that will feature artists from Geddy Lee to
Miranda Lambert interacting with their moms.
MTV is pausing production on the dating competition Are You the One?
