Percy Vs Goliath
A Canadian farmer (Christopher Walken)
takes on a giant corporation after their GMOs interfere
with his crops. Based on events from a 1998 lawsuit,
PERCY follows small-town farmer Percy Schmeiser, who
challenges a major conglomerate when the company's
genetically modified (GMO) canola is discovered in the
70-year-old farmer's crops. As he speaks out against the
company's business practices, he realizes he is
representing thousands of other disenfranchised farmers
around the world fighting the same battle. Suddenly, he
becomes an unsuspecting folk hero in a desperate war to
protect farmers' rights and the world's food supply
against what they see as corporate greed.

Big Shot (Disney Plus)
A temperamental college basketball coach (John
Stamos) gets fired from his job and must take a job
at an elite all girls private high school. Surprising
depth of writing and acting displayed in this new
series. You may be expecting a light show for high
school age viewers, but it's for adults, too. One of the
better pilots in which Stamos shines. If you've ever
played a high school sport are are a fan of feel good
drama this is a definite watch.

Vanquish
Victoria (Ruby Rose) has decided to leave
behind her life as a drug courier for Russians and
become the mother for her daughter that she deserves.
Retired cop Damon (Morgan Freeman) decides
he needs someone to do what he wants, so he kidnaps
Victoria's daughter to have her handle gangsters he had
problems with. She uses her desperation to utilize guns
and a motorcycle so she can do what is needed to get her
daughter back.

Christina Milian's household just got bigger! The Step
Up actress shared the exciting news that she welcomed her third child, a
baby boy named Kenna. This marks the 39 year old star's second baby with her
boyfriend, Matt Pokora.
It’s Katie Thurston‘s turn to hand out the roses. ABC
unveiled the first promo for Katie’s season of The Bachelorette
ahead of its June 7 premiere. "I don't regret being myself," the 30 year old
brunette bank marketing manager, who is from Massachusetts, says in the video.
"I know what I deserve." Katie recently competed on the 25th season of The
Bachelor, which featured Matt James.

are ready to become husband and wife. But before they exchange their vows, the
couple celebrated their engagement with an intimate party in Newport Beach,
Calif.
Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor have been formally
presented as a couple. Candid photos posted by MailOnline are the first
published images showing the two actors together since romance rumors began a
couple of months ago.
Though the R-rated Mortal Kombat easily cinched first place, it
had more competition than it may have expected heading into the weekend. In a
not so distant second, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train
earned a solid $15.9 million from 1,598 locations. That number is slightly below
estimations that suggested the movie could reach $19.5 million over the weekend.
ABC is spreading its promotional wealth on Oscar night around a
few key programming priorities, notably American Idol, dramas
Big Sky and Rebel and comedy Home Economics as
well as Jimmy Kimmel Live, the NFL Draft and
the upcoming Sesame Street documentary.
Rita Moreno gets her own documentary with Rita Moreno: Just a
Girl Who Decided to Go For It. The Mariem Pérez Riera-directed
documentary covers Moreno’s lengthy career, from when she became the sole
money-earner for her family at the age of 16, to her time under contract in
Hollywood.
Saturday Night Live is returning to the air with a very
well-known first time host. Elon Musk, CEO and Technoking of
Tesla and the Chief Engineer of SpaceX, will lord over SNL‘s May 8
episode. Miley Cyrus is set to perform, marking her sixth
appearance on the late night sketch comedy as a musical guest.
On the heels of an announcement that Hulu had ordered the Hilary
Duff led How I Met Your Mother followup to series, fans began
speculating how the new show would be tied to its predecessor.
Apple TV Plus has announced imminent plans to premiere 1971: The
Year That Music Changed Everything, an eight episode documentary series
dedicated to using archival footage and vintage and fresh interviews to explore
why rock ‘n’ roll and R&b reached maximum vitality during that politically
fraught time.
