Those Who Wish Me Dead
Still reeling from the loss of three lives, Hannah (Angelina
Jolie) is a smoke jumper who's perched in a
watchtower high above the Montana wilderness. She soon

traumatized and on the run in the remote forest. As
Hannah tries to bring him to safety, she's unaware of
the real dangers to follow: two relentless killers

Brewmance
The American Craft Beer movement began with a group of
restless homebrewers searching for something genuine and
flavorful. Today it's evolved into a redefinition of
beer and an international cultural phenomenon. That
uniquely American spirit of rebellion and innovation
survives in two groups of homebrewers from Long Beach,
California who are looking to open their own breweries
and bring their beers to the world. These include a
Christian father-son team who grew close over making
beer and a retired rock star looking for the "quiet"
existence of a brewery owner. With the insight and
commentary of legendary brewers Ken Grossman
(Sierra Nevada), Fritz Maytag
(Anchor Brewing), Charlie
Papazian, Vinnie Cilurzo (Russian
River), Sam Calagione (Dogfish
Head), Jim Koch (Boston Brewing)
and others, Brewmance reveals the soul of craft beer in
the heart of America.
The Buzz...
Nicki Minaj caused sales of divisive footwear Crocs to
increase by a staggering 4,900 per cent, after sharing a snap of herself wearing
a pink pair, and not much else. The Anaconda star had intended the image
to be a teaser for an upcoming project, as she shared it on her social media
pages alongside the cryptic caption “Friday”.
The future of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association
has been in question for months, ever since the Los Angeles
Times exposed its loose financial practices and lack of diversity. But with
NBC’s announcement on Monday that it would not broadcast the Golden
Globes in 2022, it began to seem that the HFPA might not survive the
crisis.
Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot expands on previous
reports of director Joss Whedon’s alleged abusive behavior on the
set of Justice League, saying in a new interview, “he threatened
my career.” The new remarks came in a sit-down with Israeli news station N12,
where she was asked about a statement she gave in April confirming that she “had
issues” with Whedon when he was brought on to complete filming of Justice League
in 2017 after original director Zack Snyder left the production
following the death of his daughter.
Regina King has been tapped to direct Bitter Root, a
film adaptation of the Harlem Renaissance set comic book series.
Along with directing, King will produce the movie for Legendary
Pictures. Additional producers include Black Panther director
Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler and Sev
Ohanian of Proximity Media.
In the first big casting to Rian Johnson’s upcoming sequel to
Knives Out, Sources tell Deadline Dave Bautista
is set to join Daniel Craig in the next installment, which
Netflix recently landed the rights too in a monumental deal. Deadline first
reported in March that Netflix was closing a deal north of $400 million for the
next two installments, a historic deal for streamers.

superhero films, The Eternals and Shang-Chi and the Legend of
the Ten Rings, may not be approved for release in China.
Legends of the Hidden Temple is headed back to the small screen, but not
in its original kid friendly format. The Nickelodeon competition
adventure series from the 1990s is all grown up in the revival ordered by the
CW. The original Nickelodeon series that aired from 1993-1995 was inspired by
Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda game and the Indiana Jones
movie franchise. The new iteration is described as a supersized and reimagined
adult version.
Production has wrapped on Ms. Marvel, a Disney-Marvel
series with a Muslim teen lead character and a significant Asian cast. Filming
was relocated to Thailand after a stint in Georgia, U.S.
Production has begun on the BBC and Amazon Studios’ Western
series The English, starring Emily Blunt. Details
around the project were first revealed by Variety last year.

while hosting America’s most watched morning-news program. On Wednesday morning,
she went back on the road.

as evil incarnate in FXX’s Little Demon, an upcoming
animated horror sitcom.
Seth Rogen says he has no plans to work with his frequent
collaborator James Franco following accusations of sexual
misconduct by multiple women. It looks like Kelly Clarkson can
thank Seth Rogen for that shout-out in The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
During the May 11 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the
singer confronted the actor over the line and got to the bottom of how it all
came to be.
Selena Gomez is ready to embark on a new era. The superstar singer
took to her Instagram Story to show off her "SG3" bracelet,
hinting that a new chapter is coming. While Gomez, who recently teased a
possible retirement from music, didn't share any further details, fans believe
she's about to drop a new album.
Jennette McCurdy has decided not to return to iCarly for
its upcoming revival, and now she's reminiscing about her working relationships
with former cast members. On a recent installment of her podcast Empty
Inside, the 28 year old Sam & Cat alum chatted with Karan
Brar, known for his role on the Disney Channel's Jessie.
During the discussion, the pair shared stories about their respective
experiences as child actors.
