The Guilty (Netflix)
Jake Gyllenhaal stars as a 911 operator
during a forest fire that's getting closer to LA. It's
clear from the outset that his character Joe is not your
ordinary operator. Just before his shift ends he gets a
panicked call from Emily, a woman abducted, before Joe
can get enough information she hangs up. What then
ensues is a frantic scramble to find the truth.
Gyllenhaal delivers his usual manic best, sliding from
amiable colleague all the way to a crazed mad man
struggling with not only the search for Emily but also
his own guilt. The Guilty is streaming with a
subscription on Netflix.

That ’70s Show. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp
will anchor the spinoff, reprising their roles as Red Forman and Kitty Forman,
respectively.
