Off The Record...
Finger Eleven
The Greyest of Blue Skies
Finger Eleven is a Canadian five-man band that has been around since the middle
of the '90s. There second recording is pretty impressive. FE manage the
difficult maneuver of sounding original and fresh. They are pop without being
predictable, primarily by virtue of seamless songwriting that moves effortlessly
from section to section, providing independent, memorable tunes at each stop.
The production and mixing by Arnold Lanni is fantastic. The guitars crunch and
rip like you want, but leave room for Scott Anderson's alternately underplayed
and dramatic vocals.

At the
Movies...
Nutty Professor II: The Klumps
In an attempt to remove his Buddy Love personality, Dr. Klump extracts the Buddy
DNA from his system, but this only leads to Buddy becoming his own person. Buddy
and Dr. Klump soon become locked in a race to claim a new youth serum that Klump
has created, which he hides in the home of his family, the Klumps. Universal
seems to know the Klumps were popular, because this time around, they get the
spotlight, and this movie delivers lots of laughs.

On Video...
My Dog Skip
A delightful coming-of-age tale about a young boy and his constant companion, a
Jack Russell terrier he receives on his 9th birthday. Willie is a shy,
sensitive, retiring boy, and his experiences with Skip teach him a variety of
life's lessons about friendship, bravery and death as he grows to become a
strong young man. He realizes that love and loyalty are the most important
things that one can nourish in life. A wonderful tale for youngsters and adults
alike and one guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes and heart. Diane Lane (as

turn in their best performances ever.
