Off The Record...

Flipp

Flipp who?  Do yourself a favor and get acquainted with this Minneapolis based band that defines the fun and excitement that is missing in today’s music scene.  Formed in 1995 by singer, songwriter, frontman, schitzo boy Brynn Arens, the band landed a major label contract with Hollywood records. Their music captures and revives the ever fading 70's pop rock, keeping it fresh and alive. To date the Flipp discography consists of their full-length debut album Flipp, as well as their 1998 Flipp XMas song. Check out their web site which is full of audio and visual treats (www.flippcentral.com), you won't be disappointed.

At The Movies...

Star Wars :Episode 1

Are you planning on skipping work to see it? How about buying the merchandise? Talking action figures, software and video games, books and interactive banks, Toys R Us said the company has shipped out 700 trailer trucks full of merchandise to their stores. George Lucas has even suggested that there may be such a thing as too much hype.  Critics will trash the movie since the Star Wars movies have always gotten generally bad reviews, so if you overlook all the hype and remember that it is a Saturday-afternoon serial for children you won't be disappointed.
