Rollins Band - The Only Way To Know For Sure

The Rollins Band has always gone through a constant changing of identity over the years, the music has moved smoothly from a defiant punk sound to a classic rock blend of '70s and modern day anguish. The current lineup includes the rhythm crew of L.A.'s Mother Superior. Featured on this album are 28 tracks that complement a history of in your face music with the Rollins' Band cutting through fan faves like Disconnect, What's The Matter Man, and Get Some Go.  This live album pulls it off by maintaining the power expressed from the studio to the stage.

At the Movies

Austin Powers in Goldmember

The evil plot at hand this time around comes from Goldmember, a Dutch criminal madman from 1975, who plans to use a tractor beam to bring a meteor of solid gold crashing into the Earth, flooding the planet, and killing all of humanity. To stop him, Austin Powers must travel back in time to team up with his old girlfriend, Foxxy Cleopatra (Beyonce Knowles), where he also discovers that his father (Michael Caine) has been kidnapped as part of Goldmember's evil scheme. It's a vast conspiracy that eventually leads Austin to seeking the unlikely help of Dr. Evil. This series is all about Mike Myers contagious energy, which he continues to deliver. Yea baby!

The Time Machine

This is an imaginative reworking of H.G. Wells' classic novella by the author's great-grandson, director Simon Wells. Though the original story and the 1960 film of the same name focused on political and social matters, this version is more down to earth. The time traveler (Guy Pearce) builds his time machine not so much to explore the future, but to go into the past to prevent the murder of his fiancιe. When his attempts at stopping fate fail, he jumps into the future to find out if there is any way to change the past. There he discovers that humans have evolved into two groups – the hunters and the hunted. Now he must fight to save himself, and all of mankind, in a final desperate battle. Superb special effects.
